Said bullets appear to conserve their special properties (As an example, if they take your attack and you have Bouncy bullets, the projectile will bounce everywhere after being thrown back, same as fire/poisonus bullets inflicting the corresponding effect).
However, the gungeoneers do not actually suffer the empathic manipulation/transmutation/devolving effects, so they should have resistance to them.
