8-C due to killing low-mid level Mechon, because those can take artillery fire with no problem.

His second Manado isn't the same as the one Bionis used, it was simply a replica. His power came from his own strength, the writer's didn't actually give a rationale of how he had the power to beat a god other than he was a main character. With his Second Manado he manage d to defeat Zanza's first form, only unlocking his third Manado in the end.
I'm assuming you mean the replica Manado, if you are reffering to the Manado Zanza used, then it's the exact same as the first one.
