How to do rotational KE calculations?

I don't think we have pages for explaining Torque calculations, but I recall some uses making calculations for it.

I would think you just need to apply the normal rotational energy for an object for the feat. The problem is that most fiction just gives a blurr effect so you can't accurately calculate how many rotations are occuring per period. So getting accurate ones is difficult. HOWEVER.
If a specific rotational velocity/Rotations per period is given, and you know the other essential properties of the object (Mass, density, distribution of said mass, etc.), I see no reaosn why standard kenetic energy equations should be applicable.

Ah, I knew the Earth rotation feat was 5-C via statements from others, but wondered where the original calculation was.
