since this is not a short timeframe, i thought KE was 1/2*mass*velocity^2? that way you also account for speedIf the lifting takes place in a quick motion around second or less, then you can use potential energy (mass surface gravity*height) or kinetic energy (1/2mass[height/time]^2)
If it takes time to do, and there’s constantly force being applied, then you can only use kinetic energy
