how do I get my threads approved

I'm new and I don't really know how to use this site that well but
I'm confused as to why my attempt at making a thread hasn't been approved after over a day has passed

well, I'd say it falls more under making the thread
I made a post in the sandbox section relating to the abilities of a character but it hasn't been approved by moderators despite a few days passing
I'm not entirely sure if the post violated the rules that I know of either. It was supposed to be my very first post but I have no idea why it won't be made public. Are there any reasons that you think could be responsible for this?
 
What was suppossed to be your first thread that wasn't approved? Since you could make this one there shouldn't be problem making others as far I now.
 
You don’t need to post threads in a sandbox before making a revision thread, you can just put it in the content revision board. The sandbox is only meant to be a place to save drafts, and I’m unsure if it can be viewed by others.
 
Ah, wait, a sandbox? Wow, so that was the problem. You want to make a thread for the abilities of a character right? Then go to Content Revision, in the part of above where say 'Thread title' write there the title you want the thread to have and in the part of below it write the contents itself of the thread, give click in the Post Thread button and done.
 
In the more options button you can futher add tags to the thread and decide if you want mail notifications of the thread, notifications in the site or neither of them.
