How do I disable announcement notification?

I keep getting announcement notification from this fandom/wikia, this doesn't happen with other fandom. In my setting [my Discussions posts receive upvotes] and [Discussions posts I'm following have new replies] are checked, everything else unchecked.

Announcements are important, and we have them quite frequently. I do not think that it is possible to unsubscribe to them.

If you do not visit the wiki for a month, they will disappear though.

On a somewhat related note, why do we all get notifications for staff only threads?

You shouldn't get notifications for all staff only threads. You have probably accidentally subscribed to the staff forum, and can go there and click unfollow or unsubscribe in the toolbar at the bottom of your screen.

The option should be visible in the lower left corner of your screen.

@Antvasima: 1 month+10 days and I still get notification 3 days ago from https://vsbattles.com/vsbattles/2482241#186 I don't even make edit in this fandom, just made a comment once. I'm desperate now with this notification bugs me in every wikia

You cannot visit this wiki at all for a month. After that you will not see any notifications form here anymore.
