Honkai: Star Rail Discussion Thread

brother... can you like connect the dots or what
I mean that’s more fine I guess, found this as well

Sing, O Aeon! Sing of the rage of Khaslana, son of Amphoreus—
A drop of burning, cleansing golden blood, melting into your sun-like blazing form.

Before that drop of golden blood fell, hatred had long since consumed you. That lengthy journey made our time together feel but a fleeting moment.
After that drop of golden blood fell, you've remained silent for far too long. Does your mind still hold its tenacity? Does your defiance still persist?
Answer me, for I need a friend to clear the fog and unveil the sun—

If your "guidance" is destined to bring rage that destroys heaven and earth, so be it, as I need a direction forward.
Answer me, for only the Dawn's furor can pierce through the evernight.
But it just seems to me that he is an “Emanator” by proxy, or around Emanator-level. In that, he siphons it off of WCB, to which he loses during 3.7, so he can’t be an Emanator in that sense, since the status never belonged to him.

Additionally, the verbiage regarding WCB is also weird. It states that it is merely similar to an Emanator, and I doubt we’d call a drop of blood an Emanator in-itself. So to extend that to Khaslana therein seems unfounded, since you also implicitly seem to be exaggerating the meaning of Emanator. Though you can argue a similar situation to that of Acheron, since it seems implied she became an Emanator through sheer power rather than a glance.

Nevertheless, this doesn’t address the original comment I actually made, which is that a non-Emanator can harm Aeons. Though, it seems you implicitly agree with that take as I stated above.

can i just start by asking why would someone need to be an emanator to harm an aeon? its a STATUS. power can come from multiple sources. being an emanator is just a way to receive power and the blessing of an aeon to be their messenger. phainon just acquired power from one. if someone got so op and acquired somehow so much power then why wouldnt they be able to? besides, the scepter was also an emanator of destruction and it created phainon. it's not a random non-emanator that achieved this. as for the blood itself, the text says its energy is that of an emanator so we could just say its pure imaginary energy/destruction path energy that got fused with him.

i am not gonna make a statement on whether he still has the emanator status inside the as i've written. we don't know yet. the text does say it was fused with his body. and there's also the blood that he "uses" to reveal evernight iirc. so idk how it really works.

Quoting your reply to the post where I made that same claim:
u better stop or u will never disprove the illiteracy allegations. both for vsbattles users and hoyo players.

as for the blood itself, the text says its energy is that of an emanator so we could just say its pure imaginary energy/destruction path energy that got fused with him.
It says that it’s similar to it. Which can’t mean that it is literally an Emanator proper. Otherwise the reductio here is you’d be claiming that Coreflame Burst Phainon was an Aeon or whatever.

the text does say it was fused with his body. and there's also the blood that he "uses" to reveal evernight iirc.
Which he doesn’t have after 3.7. The Luofu took it, and it’s stated it was used to harm Irontomb’s physical form, ya know, the one fused with Phainon?

why not just give them keys from before the fight..? they obviously dont have 12 coreflames its only cyrene
Do you not understand how the new key works? That wasn’t even the justification. That was just because Irontomb scales above 12 coreflames Khaslana naturally.

you're doing the most splitting hairs like that... the word is there for a reason

but the golden blood was also used in 3.5 despite it being fused already with him. and he says inside the as i've written that he still holds the power of the coreflames. it's unsure if he just gave it up entirely. if that's even possible.

Phainon: As soon as the journey ended, they rushed me to the Twilight Courtyard for a diagnosis. Lady Tribbie was worried about the Coreflame's effects on my body, while Professor Anaxa... was probably just purely curious.
Phainon: The doctor advised me to chat more, exercise more, eat more, and sleep more.
Phainon: Now, I have no reason to keep moping around. It's time to get a fresh start!

you're doing the most splitting hairs like that... the word is there for a reason
Refer to the reductio again, thanks.

but the golden blood was also used in 3.5 despite it being fused already with him.
If you’d watch the Dan Heng/Lygus scene you quoted earlier, you’d realize that the WCB literally transforms into Phainon the next cutscene. That’s what it means for it to melt into him.

So unless WCB is once again used differently in 3.5, please quote the exact scene.
he still holds the power of the coreflames
WCB = Coreflame 💔

im lost on what the hell you're talking about

are you trying to give them a 12x multiplier or not?
The 12x applies to Khaslana as he empowers himself with all 12 of them.

Irontomb and Zephyro scales to this because they are comparable to Khaslana

The ascended chrysos heirs scales to that level due to keeping up with Incomplete Irontomb and surviving its attacks.

The entire point of the key is to differentiate the recurrence Chrysos Heirs from the final ones as well as fixing the scaling issue between the heirs Irontomb and Zephyro

(Because yeah it is weird if any 3.6 heirs were to somehow box Khaslana but this new key explains it all and fixes that issue while its self isolated within this key)

i did forget how the scene went and what came first but what lygus says is not that. he straight up says it merged into his body.

listen, if we wanna treat the blood as something transferable, sure, whatever. we just dont know if its phainon still has its power. the coreflames are also not correlated to the wbc? the wbc is what dropped after the scratch idk what u mean there

so just >304 zettafoe...
The ascended chrysos heirs scales to that level due to keeping up with Incomplete Irontomb and surviving its attacks.
im gonna be honest.. do we even have any proof they fought? they're like spirit summons like they can fight but after the attack they just gone also they're never in any cutscenes...
The entire point of the key is to differentiate the recurrence Chrysos Heirs from the final ones as well as fixing the scaling issue between the heirs Irontomb and Zephyro
could just seperate the current justifications into different keys and add the 30.4 zettafoe to one

we bring them with us to the core and we can pick them as trial chars meaning they are meant to be there.. at that point they are made of remembrance by cyrene through the insignias they gave us that carry all their previous memories and powers and lifetimes

where is it stated they have powers from previous cycles? (idr this statement)

also they themselves would only scale to 1 coreflame

i did forget how the scene went and what came first but what lygus says is not that. he straight up says it merged into his body.
Lygus (and the mission description) say that it melted into Phainon. Then Dan Heng goes to the floating WCB which then transforms into Khaslana before him then doing that big explosion.

we just dont know if its phainon still has its power.
So when you call me “illiterate”, I presume you say that with the acknowledgment that you have no idea for yourself, correct?
You are technically insulting yourself too—

the coreflames are also not correlated to the wbc? the wbc is what dropped after the scratch idk what u mean there
I am pointing out the false equivalence here. It’s why I put a 💔

You assume that Phainon could have WCB because he still has Coreflames, and I point out how those two are not the same thing at all. The former is dropped by an Aeon, and the latter is something simulated millions of times by the scepter.

so just >304 zettafoe...
No theres like an actual value to it and not some unknown upscale

Btw Doggo said apparently, you're all fine with the 12 coreflames scaling. Unless that didnt include you.

could just seperate the current justifications into different keys and add the 30.4 zettafoe to one
We can't just separate the keys when the literal justification is that they fought Irontomb. This isn't a solution to anything because it still causes scaling issues. Thats the whole point of the Ascended key is to explain why theyre stronger than their usual selves.

i dont recall saying i was fine with, we dont even know what 1x coreflame scales to and even then why would any chrysos heirs get this other than cyrene and khaslana?

they have multiple justifications lol just edit them into different keys it cannot be that hard

i called u so because we have an image right there of multiple characters that are accepted as emanators. 4 of them are at that. phainon is the only one called so indirectly. they added him there because they consider him so too.

i definitely did not call you that on the grounds of theorising about the nature of the blood. i said i don't know either and that he still holds the coreflames so its logical to assume that if it was literally MERGED with his body, like the coreflames, it seems unlikely that he can rip it off and hand it over to someone else. even if he can however, he was also then BLESSED by nanook either way as zephyro says. unless he meant that he took the hit and gave up the blood willingly and thats how he decided to "elevate" him.

if you felt that this word is too insulting, i apologise. are we good now?

I deadass just explained to you how that 12 coreflames scaling worked 😭. I said the 12X only applies to Khaslana. Ascended Heirs, Irontomb, and Zephyro only scale to whatever value that causes via chainscaling. Not that either one of them were empowered by 12 coreflames.

they have multiple justifications lol just edit them into different keys it cannot be that hard
No they dont

"Fought alongside the rest of the Chrysos Heirs, Demiurge, Trailblazer, March 7th, and Permansor Terrae against Incomplete Irontomb"
This is deadass the line only justification for that separation key you kept talking about. It doesn't fix any issues if this is the only justification 😭

when did the heirs ascend..? they just got absorbed by cyrene
caling. Not that either one of them were empowered by 12 coreflames.

SON

(As a Demigod<a href="https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/Aglaea#cite_note-Kremnos,_Cleanse_Thy_Rusted_Blood_(II)-5"><span>[</span>5<span>]</span></a> and leader<a href="https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/Aglaea#cite_note-Loading_Screen_-_Aglaea-20"><span>[</span>20<span>]</span></a><a href="https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/Aglaea#cite_note-Amphoreus_Trailblaze_Log_(I)-14"><span>[</span>14<span>]</span></a> of the Chrysos Heirs,<a href="https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/A...t_Travelers,_Listen_to_this_World's_Prayer-21"><span>[</span>21<span>]</span></a> Aglaea should be at least comparable to the other members of the Chrysos Heirs. Was able to easily restrain a clone of Weakened Nikador with her threads.

What the actual hell is going on with the heirs profile. Mydei is missing statistical profiles with an obvious reference error. Castorice has a random statistical reference mid sentence. All the heirs are flip flopping between 30 and 300 zettafoe. Who the hell applied this

i called u so because we have an image right there of multiple characters that are accepted as emanators. 4 of them are at that. phainon is the only one called so indirectly. they added him there because they consider him so too.
I can see Emanator level, sure. That’s kinda what that one scene in 4.2 was positing as well. Not Emanator status though.

it seems unlikely that he can rip it off and hand it over to someone else
Well it seems like he did just that ngl.

he was also then BLESSED by nanook either way as zephyro says.
That’s just the blood itself.

if you felt that this word is too insulting, i apologise. are we good now?
I don’t care really. I just find it ironic.
