It's such a bad look no shade to anyone. If you're the thread starter it seems messy to have already picked a side and defending it that hard. Kafka is the only one who hasn't really gotten an upscale from the SH, Elio is there but he's already broken, firefly has swarm thing, SW lv999, and now blade, so might be getting one after the ipc planet

Yup yup. Blade Abundance, SW elation, only kafka left and iirc it was leaked that she was gonna get one in 5.x along w acheron and she'd be harmony

I agree, it looks bad. Nothing against Reaper, he's generally cool ngl.
And yeah, the whole personality debacle just felt weird. Like why have the profile so explicitly point out his weakness if it's gonna be discarded by the verse supporters anyway?

It's insane I agree. Then again, I don't know much about FF to dig deeper into it. More of a Kingdom Hearts fan

That's my issue. It seems to me like plenty of versus threads and fights in general could completely change direction depending on the characters being in character.

I mean, I understand that, for instance, SBA is meant to be used to make certain unlikely match up's happen. But then you have like
For example, when I argue against Kratos, half the time it goes "Oh yeah Kratos will NEVER hurt a child" from the supporters which leads to either a weird wincon or they'll call the match invalid
But then with Kefka it's like
"Oh yeah, it says he goofs around and never really fights serious? Nah, he knows this is a bad situation even though his profile doesn't cite that as a exception to this thing we consider a valid weakness to include"
Like huh???
Why have that weakness in the first place then?????? It will literally never apply????????????
