Honkai: Star Rail Discussion Thread

How do we treat this feat

'based on a theory', 'might' always if, never when.

The reality is that coreflames represent actual Paths and carry Path energy. Simulation =/= Not real/Non-existant. Paths, as Herta explained, require for a strider to tread upon it. The further you go and relate with it, the more power you get. The AE kids got the coreflames representing the Paths they walk upon. TB = Worldbearing/Traiblaze, M7 = Remembrance/Time DH = Permanence/Earth. So they carry those powers even now because it's not really the coreflames that just granted them. It's the Path in first place. The heirs also had a lot of their powers before acquiring the coreflames. It's just that after getting them and passing through the trial in the pool, they went deeper into their role as Titans and Pathstriders.
I'm...a little iffy but also acceptant of this take. I still find it silly for Dan Heng to use IL instead of PT tho during 4.2

It's what happens tbh not really a take

Both of his forms are byproducts of Permanence. PT is bound to Amphoreus because it is essentially parts of Georios and Terravox.
As you can see, that transformation was brought about by the power of the Permanence.
After I accepted the Coreflame of Earth as one of Long's Scions, the power of the Permanence within this body became a shield for all life in Amphoreus

You can't just say it is real when nothing is confirmed.

Except he inherited the coreflame of earth, and took Georios's place as the Earth demigod. The coreflame isn't bound to them at all. This is like saying Nikador's coreflame is still a part of him even after Mydei took it.

Also, saying PT is bound to Amphoreus just means the coreflames (therefore the amp and powers they give) can't be used outside the simulation.

None of the heirs have their Coreflames anymore in the Eternal Page so it would be kinda weird if the trio still had them. The Lygus bit in the Star Rail FEST map is probably a joke since time abilities would've been extremely helpful in the story (unless we wanna make this a star finger scenario where we just don't use a very useful tool in our kit because of plot or whatever).

The flaws of the heirs is what makes this really annoying though. Aglaea lost her flaw of being blind, Castorice no longer has death touch, but Mydei still is immortal according to the 3rd anni event. So the "removal" is very inconsistent.

Phainon is also a bit ambiguous since he actually was a real entity before being put into the book (body, coreflames, everything), and they mentioned him being pushed to see Hyacine to check the effects of the Coreflames on his body so we don't even know if the removal even applied to him.

What is this obssession with everything requiring to be spelled out genshin impact paimon style? (Not that people still don't doubt things even when it is cough cough emanators generals)

What? We see the Heirs take upon the forms of the Titans.

They do have their powers in the book. Aglaea specifically talks about using the threads still. Tribbie is still scattered too. Mydei's immortality is not a power brought about by the coreflames. Castorice doesn't have the death touch because death nor illnesses exist in the book.

Aglaea literally said "even though I can no longer see the threads" to Cipher's guilty expression when the latter tried to give a gift to her anonymously what are you talking about bruh please play the anniversary event

I was gonna put a screenshot of the wiki just straight up saying this but how do I even put images here man

In a Planarcadia area, there's a Lygus cardboard which is a destructable object and after destroying it, you can use Oronyx's prayer to restore it. This is because Remembrance = Oronyx and the TB has Remembrance anyway.
It's surprisingly well explained
After months of searching, I've finally found someone who can confirm that Coreflames aren't something you can just take from someone and instantly acquire all their powers (Castorice and Mydei haven't gained anything since obtaining their Coreflames, which they didn't even hold for more than 10 minutes, btw)
Honestly, I think it's similar to how the Pilgrim Masks from the Phantasmoon Games work—that is, amplifying your existing power

Well she also says that she does have it...?
Aglaea: The golden thread brings word that a dark undercurrent is brewing in the city. We must nip it in the bud before it grows beyond our control.
Cipher: It's a rest day, seamstress. If you want me to work, you'll have to pay extra.
Aglaea: Heh. When is it not a rest day for you, Cifera? I wouldn't have called you both here if it weren't urgent.
Hysilens: Heh, who would've thought my swordmanship could come in handy for tailoring?
TB: Surprised by this invitation?
Hysilens: Nothing can escape Dux Goldweaver's threads. I guess she probably saw how bored to death I was, so she used this method to get me to do something more productive.

I mean idm the chrysos hers keeping them since they are still in amphoreus i just believe the coreflames only exist inside amohoreus because they are ******* code/words

Castorice no longer has death touch
I wouldn't say that Castorice lost the deadly touch, but rather that she learned to control it. In a way, the Titan of Death was meant to have two hands, one that kills and the other that saves, as shown in her Path of Equilibrium
(or at least I don't think she's lost it)
Castorice doesn't have the death touch because death nor illnesses exist in the book.
That works too
Honestly, that part of the story didn't interest me; I was focused on the book's ending

Tbf I don't think she can use them to the same degree of effectiveness as Evernight does and March is just kinda dumb in general
Mnemospirit are used for information recognition or tracking someone, if we follow March's description in 3.7 and the various uses of his cute blue jellyfish in 3.6 and 4.0
March isn't stupid, but more like simple-minded; well, I don't know, but she uses her Path of Remembrance to do useful things, like tracking Dolie (why she doesn't track her own memories is another question), which is... original? (I have nothing against her)
I mean idm the chrysos hers keeping them since they are still in amphoreus i just believe the coreflames only exist inside amohoreus because they are ******* code/words
That's what I think too
