If a being is “Infinite” in comparison to a regular 3-D human being what exactly does this grant? Becoming “Infinite” is constantly referred to as “transcendence” in this series.
Thanks

If there's no further context, the character being considered infinite and transcendent compared to a regular human doesn't signify anything in particular. It's an incomplete comparison. Words like "infinite" and "transcendent" can signify that a character is beyond normal comprehension, but we don't know to what standards, nor what attribute of the character it applies to. Analyzing the genre and style of the series might give you a hint at what the statements are referring to.

I agree it is vague. The statement of “becoming infinite” comes directly from one of these beings that were present at the beginning of time and consider themselves in comparison to a regular human being infinite in a seemingly literal sense.

With that added context, "infinite" probably refers to age. The statement suggests eternal life immortality (type 1), unlike characters who just live for an extraordinarily long time because of longevity.

I disagree with immortality/longevity especially given the stuff I haven’t spoken about. But thank you for commenting you gave me some ideas!
Yeah, I don't know what series you're referring to so I can't know all the details. Anyway, I'm glad I was a help. 👍
