I don't get it. What's the difference between a large island and a small country. I always though that a large island need to be at least Irland sized and a small country should be at most as big as Czech Republic. Anyway what is an avarege large island and an avarege small country according to this wikia?

According to this page Bangladesh is an avarege sized country (147570 km^2) and there are 12 island that are bigger.

Okay let's say that a small country is a country which is smaller than at least 75% of the rest. There are 196 countries in this page . 196/4*3=147. Djibouti is 147'th biggest country. Its area is 23200 km^2 and it should be the biggest small country. There are 48 islands that are bigger according to this page
