Hazbin Hotel Discussion Thread

Most sinners are instantly killed whenever they get close to a fight between overlords, and that's shown on a multitude of occasions. The average sinner likely upscales from IMPs; Cherri Bomb is probably just a very powerful sinner, just like the rest of the main cast.
The fact that Baxter didn't directly interfere in the fight also tells me he's likely around the level of normal sinners.

Destructive Capacity, also that's the weapon blowing up due to it overloading, not the actual power of the laser itself, not to mention how would Carmilla know the true capacity of Lucifer's power anyways?

I mean she did build a weapon which seemingly used Lucifer's true capacity, or at least enough to seemingly cause far greater damage than what her statement on the overloading would do

Yeah, although it's kind of telling considering that explosion would kill everyone, including overlords, so it does put a pretty solid roof for most of the verse

She build s a weapon to drain his power, that doesn't necessarily mean she knew how much power he had, not to mention her knowing angels are killable in no way correlates to knowledge of his power, especially with the fact even Lucifer can't be killed by Angelic weapons, which he states to Vox even after having knowledge that Vox indeed has angelic weapon, and again it had to drain his power each time it was used, not all at once.

I thought you were exaggerating or that it gave 3 km in diameter, but I just tried to use a frame from stayed gone to calculate its radius using the hotel, and I got 991.6 meters, and 3 square kilometers worth of area 🗿 (Maybe I calced it wrong)

This is actually like super consistent and constantly mentioned, so we could calculate its size based on how large a city would have to be to hold billions of inhabitants, using the population density of an American city

I just did it roughly and i got like 4.79 km using stayed gone. Did you use the mountain that the hotel was also on for the height cause the calced height? Cause the calced height I used was just for the hotel from this calc. Won't blame you though, the hotel is in the background so it's blurry as hell (ba dum tss)
 
Isn't the Pride Ring suppose to house all the sinners ever (With the exterminations being only a thing for 7 years and under false pretense, so the overpoulation problem is probably not true).
Somehow I doubt only a few kilometers is right for its length

Nah, it's repeatedly stated even in Season 2 that Sinners way overwhelm Winners in numbers, so this bit shoud've been true.

Yeah it's supposed to. It could just be a case of them not necessarily knowing the scale required for the literal tens of billions of people that would likely be in Hell or they want to have recognizable landmarks and that's hard to do when the city would logically have to be somewhere in the high hundreds to thousands of kilometers range

I did the same, but the image was low quality, so that probably affected my calculation, either that or I just don't know how to use angsize lmao

It isn't weird for irl massive cities to have 1% or more of their country's population. Considering that Vox says that Heaven has 100 billion souls, the 1 billion needy faces Charlie mentions is actually a lowball for Pentagram City, and could easily be way higher than that.
So it being so small compared to irl cities doesn't make any sense, especially considering that, visually speaking, it's never shown to be literally a thousand times more cramped up than a massive American city.
Pentagram city is likely the size of a country going by population alone.
