Hazbin Hotel Discussion Thread

I'm actually just so ******* done with this.

I would be surprised if this is real, but we know that there's ways of lowering someone's mental defences (as we saw at the end of Episode 6) so it's not totally impossible.

And who knows, maybe a part of the Punishment is that you can't even fight back, after all, Lucifer couldn't even escape being "BLOCKED!" by Velvette? And it's not like her magic is her, so...? Maybe?

Nah I doubt Lu can be hypnotized because this begs a question: why doesn’t Vox just freaking hypnotize everyone?
We know things like Valentino's poison can make you weaker to the hypnosis and like I say, it could be he can't even resist Sinner's attacking him, since Velvette and Valentino were able to grab him and trap him with no consequence.

I mean, it's kind of a realistic scenario though. Sure, Luci can't fight them, but can they really force him to do anything themselves? He can always teleport away or do whatever to get out of it. They either need some good leverage or Vox will actually hypnotize him.

When did we learn that? Hell when did we learn what any of Val's stuff can actually do besides being smoke and the implied addiction
In the scene when Vox reveals everything we see what occurs after "Poison". Val and Vox get into Angel's room and we see Angel with the liquid oozing out of his mouth, which is the earliest we see Angel Dust affected (Which obviously makes sense since it's shortly after Sir Pent. is discovered and it's also the first thing we see when it's revealed).

We can gather from this that in the first instance of Vox mind controlling Angel, Val used his poison on Angel to weaken him to Vox's control.

I..... don't think that really counts as justifiable proof that it weakens someone's resistance to mind control. Like Val's stuff does something but it could just as easily be that it literally just drugged Angel Dust so that Vox didn't need to overpower them to use the MC like we saw at the hotel.

Well, we see Vox has no issues with physically overpowering Angel, so that's clearly not the case.

We also see in Poison that Angel is smoking a cigarette and Valentino takes it and blows the pink smoke into his face which makes things blurry, so it has some mind altering affects.

I'm not saying any of this for an addition to a page or anything, just that it's very blatant subtext that these two things work in tandem otherwise why add in the detail?

I think Val's stuff naturally probably does make someone more vulnerable but in like a drugged sense, yeah. That's how I see it atm

Yeah, I also think it goes into why Val is immune to Vox's abilities too.

If you are so resistant to being in a drugged state, it would likely give you some mental fortitude.

And it also leans into Val and Vox being a combo and couple.

Yeah fair, it's just that I'm revising Val's (and the Vees) profiles and I actively hate how none of his stuff is explained or at least properly shown meaning all he has is Smoke Manip and that's it (even in poison the perception thing is so vague that it can't be used).

On god my reasoning is that it's just that Val's eyesight is so bad that he literally can't even see the mind control properly (to kinda support that idea, if you look at the scene Vox's spirals don't even appear on Val's eyes and only the glasses)

Doesn't change the profile though, but I prefer the funny reasoning until that bum actually has something for his drug powers

Who do y'all think is the next redeemed sinner, if there is one?

I also feel like if Lute isn't killed she's gonna become a fallen angel. Becoming what she hates most would probably do wonders for her character

I imagine we'll get more of it this and next season and iirc there's already confirmed a 4th season?

So I imagine Season 2 will end with the Vee's starting the War on Heaven and Season 3 will be the Vee's winning and then losing and Season 4 will probably be dealing with Alastor.

I wonder if we'll get Angelic versions of the Vee's if and when they take over Heaven

Val's saliva is the key component in Velvette's love potions btw

Also heaven and hell are apparently entire universes on their own.

That should bump the angels into Interdimensional with their portals
I mean kinda, since it is also say that they act like two planets but that are realms but, yeah it is the ******* God of war thing again

Not that surprising, it probably has some Minecraft logic going on "Infinite planet with a Day/Night cycle."

Reminds me of Minecraft (again) and Dragon Ball, where the Universes are all basically just planets in a bigger realm.

At most Low 1-C Alastor oh yeah
Thinking about it...

Wouldn't it give the Heavenly Angels High 3-A or Low 2-C power by creating the shield around their Realm?

Watched the newest episodes.

Vox deserves to be in a better show. He has no reason being this cool of a character for Hazbin Hotel. (I will say Season 2 is overall more enjoyable than season 1)
Vox genuinely is like a character from a much better show(Like Hunter: The Parenting, dear god I never thought I'd be comparing that masterpiece to Hazbin positively...) stuck in Hazbin Hotel, the show where the main character is a ******* side character 80% of the time.

It's like Vivzie heard the complaints about Blitzo being prominent in every episode even when he had no reason to be there, and took the opposite direction lol

The dude has unparalleled aura as a villain compared to every other villain in the Hellaverse, and has the nice addition of actually feeling human. He also has a lot more screentime and that somehow didn't **** up his character and he's still cool, which is strange cuz that's happened several times to some characters in Hullva/Hazbin

Like what the **** this guy doing with this aura?
