Hazbin Hotel Discussion Thread

This all came to me thinking about the Speaker of God vs Vox, and how if even Alastor couldn’t compare to Adam, how would Vox compare to the Speaker of God. Then it hit me.

Vox united the Overlords likely to steal their power and then Lucifer’s. Following this, Alastor’s deal would not be met and either Rosie would need to give him more power possibly more than she can give (or maybe not if she’s Roo/Rue).

Meaning either Alastor gains unimaginable power, enough to conquer the cosmos after Vox is defeated or he’s free of him deal with Rosie and can do what he wants.

Either way, he wins.

Honestly Charlie is far worse here, she got herself into it where an idiot would've understood it's dumb, and she also got mad with her dad even though she did the same thing (interact with Vox and ruin reputation of hotel) thrice herself, while Lu didn't know Vox was watching through Angel Dust.

i will always throw a spear for Charlie...but i will say, getting angry at your dad the way she did it, was really bad, she should apologize (but also, MAN, LUCIFER ****** IT UP EVEN MORE, how, IN YOUR KNOWLEDGE THAT YOU CAN'T DO SHIT, decide to literraly do a show and say "yeah, i am cool, and i am so fearful, i am LITERRALY GOD AND INFINITY ITSELF...but i won't hurt you"), and then Vox spins the narrative and now Sinners BELIEVE HIM EVEN MORE
 
Did you notice how we're talking about fights, battles, wars in a show where one of the main points should be to delve into the sinners, see how the hotel really works, try to explore the concept of redemption and how it functions, etc.?

All of that is basically sidelined/pushed into the background and only really used for convenience in the hell vs. heaven plot.

For example, a year has passed since the hotel's opening and we've barely seen Alastor doing his job as manager.

I think they're rushing something that could be explored much better calmly.

As I say, I love certain aspects of Hazbin, like some characters, songs, scenes, etc., but on fundamental level writing is too flawed.

Tbh in S2 the point is that he doesn't want to be one at all anymore.

But honestly wth is there even to manage, I think he just claimed that title cuz it sounds cool and cuz he helped heavily in the beginning, but otherwise all he does at best in S1 is probably snap-create things for Vaggie when needed (like with camera). Charlie probably can do that herself so she didn't need that.

Yea. Pre-EP4 he just did not want contribute at all or be in the place, he had crappy mood and was openly annoyed by Charlie (tho Husk was still confident he would protect them in any case), and post-EP4 he isn't even at the Hotel in the fist place.

Also while we are here, I'm very confident that Ch*rlie did not try to rescue Alastor solely because we did not have enough screentime in S2, making her look even crappier than she already was.

Anyways, I'm sure Alastor will return to the hotel, considering there's a scene in the trailer showcasing him in the Hotel with a fixed staff.

Bro who's the writer for Vox specifically, they need a raise and more power (unless this is a Dr. Stone Boichi situation where the male and female characters look like they are in two different franchises, in which case find someone else to help the consistency lol)
 
Man I feel some people have a specific hate boner for Viv but they won't admit it.
People hated on mission orphan and mission drive so, even when they were not written by Viv, yet when they discover that they were not written by her...THE ACT HAS IF THEH ARE NOT THAT BAD???.
Man, some of you just hate her, ADMIT IT, you won't be complaining this much if the written were done by someone else, and the only change is "is not vivziepop"
