I saw a really good theory about why
alastor is being vox’s b*tch so suddenly.
He’s trying to amp vox because vox is a sinner, making Rosie have to step in so the contract is upheld. And then break his own contract with vox because Charlie is going to fight vox to save Alastor
Only real issue is whether Rosie likes Alastor that much but considering he’s been loyal for like 90 years and Rosie herself has said she likes Alastor, she probably will uphold her end of the bargain

Genuinely though, I like Alastor, but god damn is he a hypocite. I honestly like Vox more simply because his power feels way more earned. Alastor is genuinely a deep well of insecurity that can't help but deflect on Vox, and sadly the ragebait works on him.

I'm being honest, he genuinely does. Alastor was genuinely surprised that he couldn't use some of his powers against Vox, and spent most of the time running away. I'm not gonna say that he doesn't have something planned, but to say that he was still cooking them when weakened is kinda dumb as hell.

This deal stuff is getting weird. I went to check the wiki and it looks like that Viz stated that Rosie is 2 to 3 out of 10 in terms of power if you compare her to other overlords. So how the hell is she capable to make Alastor the strongest sinner if she is also a jobber?

A lot of the time, wish givers in fiction can provide powers beyond their means simply because a deal is give and take. Think like binding vows in JJK, characters can make deals that far exceed their power if they receive something in return.

(Also, that's not how binding vows work. But moving on, what I'm saying is, if even a weak overlord can make you the strongest with a simple deal, I imagine that the overlords would be capable to powercliffing without much problem)

Yeah I'm sure I messed up there, just saying that it is common for deals beyond characters means to function based off tradeoffs.
Personally, my theory is that Rosie is actually Eve in disguise, and the thing about Rosie's power could be a bit of a retcon.

Rosie has a very trad woman aesthetic, so to me it makes sense for her to quite literally be THE traditional woman. It would make sense why she would want to get back at Charlie and Lucifer.

I think it's intentional for Alastor to be a hypocrite. While Vox tries to get power be making allies/friends, Alastor get power by manipulating people.
Vox doesn't mind if someone is on his side as long as he is on the top, while Alastor wants to be the only one at the top.

Maybe, but it is out of left field to have just a generically powerful overlord be in control of one of the main characters, she's definitely planning something bigger than just having control of Hell
Yeah. They are both similar in the fact that they use people. Where they contrast is how they use them. Alastor is basically a dictator, controlling those under him as tools and nothing more. Vox is very much his cult leader persona, pulling people into his scheme, helping them up by stepping over others, just for him to step above them.
