Alastor's shadows going through him proves nothing, tentacles have an unknown source that isn't just "magic" and are generally a semi-physical thing from Alastor which further removes them from shadow scaling,(Actually, calculate their AP from crushing that blimp to scale Alastor's physicals) and the explosion is a non-physical magic which may be attributed to shadows if you want to dance a little in the moonlight.
Orange, you don't seem to understand me. I don't downgrade to downgrade or upgrade to upgrade. I want my ratings to be mostly bulletproof, and some things are just outliers. I don't care if Adam is tier 8 or tier 5, as long as there's a rock-solid base to it that I can't turn into swiss cheese, I'm happy enough with any rating. See 5-B Aspects and Thrall in Warcraft. I'm fairly certain half the mentions of Aspects from me is bitching that I can't argue against their consistency in tier 5, when I'm the one who upgraded them there.
