Welcome to, the Deadly Monarch discovers weird things that don't make sense part 432,584,743!

This week, why the hell is Alastor not upscaling to at LEAST baseline multi city block level!
As we see on the profiles, all hellborn and sinner demons at least scale to Pentious, but Alastor, by a NUMBER of explanations on his page, tell us that he should MASSIVELY upscale ANYTHING committed by average demons sans Stolas' Grimoire in Blitz' hands...obviously. Like, the guy is STATED to be WAAAYYY above the average, to be "all powerful" even, and the calc that low tiers currently scale to is ONLY 6.3 tons off from baseline 8-A, does the in universe glaze, vivs glaze, VOX LITERALLY BEING TERRIFIED OF THE MAN, THE FEAT WAS SO FRIGGIN CASUAL HE LITERALLY DIDNT HAVE TO MOVE AN INCH, and him temporarily holding his own against Adam NOT give him that benefit of the doubt??? All this would mean is the sins and Stolas get to have above baseline 8-A, "oh, but we don't have any reason to think that Stolas is stronger than any regular sinner!", ok so for one, he's a Goetic demon, and TWO, "Stolas! I hereby strip you of your status, YOUR POWER, and your title; for the next hundred years.", which literally RIGHT after we see him physically drained.

In other words, I'm just saying that we should give Al an 8-A baseline rating off of all the narrative stuff + the casual nature they were committed, Viv saying Al would physically ONE-SHOT Pen, and then give the Goetic demons and Sins above baseline 8-A. Am I not like...the only one who noticed that or am I the only one who cares?

I'd think so. If Makima and Quanxi can get higher via upscaling, then so too should Al and those who scale to him
Although, I'm not too sure if there's some rule that states it can't happen without a CRT.

Why is everyone, including low tiers like I.M.P., scaling to Hypersonic+ (Nearly Mach 20)...from a Lucifer feat, a god tier?

Upscale IG due to how easily they do it, the feat itself is only hyper not hyper+, so they probably decided to give the benefit there, (of course, there is this calc that gets the verse scaled to MHS but whatever)

Sure, I guess one could say the imps upscale to Hypersonic+ due to how close robo fizz's feat is to Hypersonic+ (Mach 9.5 or something) but lucifer doesn't get high Hypersonic from upscaling his own feat (though, he should be high Hypersonic+ since it seems Adam's beams are currently accepted as Mach 70 till someone argues their light speed and luci dodged them causally), hence my confusion

I mean...eh? They're consistent bullet timers so them using guns for combat doesn't make sense no matter how it's sliced but I 100% feel you.

i guess but what i'm saying is that them being faster by a decent margin (even without taking into account the hypersonic stuff) means we were always gonna question why they use guns when their faster

I'm guess it's easier since bullets have higher travel speed than they do. Idk, making up as I go

those light beams aren't even rated as light, just higher relativistic+ and she got only got relativistic due to dodging a radio wave after it was fired, not even from a laser feat (sad). There's currently no good or accepted calc for Star catching a laser even if I want her to be ftl
But, generally, I agree with you. I feel the speed scaling is whack, escpeilly with everyone being Hypersonic+ when the imps should only be Hypersonic, hence my questioning

But as I explained before, range and lack of immediate danger is certainly a very good reason to use a gun, espeically when you can lead your shot.
