Yeah yeah I know Reaper commits a sin of using a character he says not to use until a rework happens, yadah yadah...

Guts is in his 8-A key

Battle starts 5 meters away

Battle takes place in the Scalding Gallows

Horseman of the Apocalypse: 0

The Hundred-man Slayer: 0

They get along too well to fight: 0

If I'm reading it correctly, War has some decent utility powers that can amp him and even have him heal by dealing damage, so that could be a problem since Guts isn't shy about taking a hit so long as he doesn't think it'll put him out of commission. How skilled is War?

War was one of the ones who went out and slaughtered entire civilizations for a living for a few millenia.

Otherwise he went 4veveryone with his entire race and won in a slaughter, and rides into like 3 armies without being touched in The Abomination Vault novel. One of these armies numbered in the millions and were tricky ass things with varying degrees of fuckery with weapons and limbs, up to 6 limbs in fact, though these were constructs they could tag actual highly trained soldiers.

And War himself fodderizes Uriel like 3 times in DS1, and that woman has been oh Earth for about a century after Hell Invaded. Ya know, with limited forces. And she and the other hellguard are still alive and kicking despite being at a catastrophic numbers disadvantage.

War also one-shot a younger Uriel but she was like 12 at the time and War didn't exactly want to kill what was essentially a young girl with determination and a sword so he just bonked her over the head with the flat end of Chaoseater

That sounds like skillfuckery on a scale that even Guts hasn't touched. You sure this isn't a stomp?
Didn't Guts pull similar shit in the eclipse?

Plus Guts is technically more versatile than War, who will only really use his weapons other than Chaoseater if it's really not working at all

He went one v thousands, not 4 v millions/1 v hundreds of thousands
I mean, aren't they basically the same thing?

You're still running out with a sword, a big pair of bullocks, and a dream against things that can and will surround you, War just had more to grind through
