Guts lands A SINGLE BLOW, and wins this battle, he is phisically stronger than Dio by a lot, specially on his armor
But, Dio can beat him if he spams his laser eyes and freezes him.

well if guts wants to kill dio he still needs to use his sword so if dio could touch him even if only for halv a second dio could probably freeze one of his legs, arms, torso or head. Doing that would seriously slow down guts but dio still need to react to guts speed if he can do that then dio has a good advantege, but if guts cuts of one of Dio's limb or just chops of his head Dio would be at a disadvantege, so who stirkes first is very deciding in this battle. One thing thou if guts cuts of Dio's head he would excpect him to be dead giving dio an opening for his space ripper stingy eyes to land a hit on guts if Dio pretend he is dead.

To add, as it was long steeped in the blood of numerous Apostles for two years before the story began, which benefited him in his nightly fights for survival, the Dragonslayer allows Guts to harm spiritual entities. As a Stands is spirit-like manifestation of the user's will, it could be harmed by Guts's sword.

This is phantom blood Dio, not Stardust Crusaders Dio. Also, it was on an astral plane of existence. Planes of existence varies, so it's hard to say exactly, so don't lump them togetherFractyl said:
As for the general topic, Guts takes it. He has a higher durability than Dio with the berserker armour, has more experience in combat than Dio (since guts was a child, he was exposed to war.) Dio may have freezing blood and lazer shootings, but Guts has dealt with being shot at by lightning and hordes of Apostoles with various items, including an arm cannon and mini bombs along with throwing knives and arrows.

This is inconclusive, since superior Dura+regen is really hard thing to overcome just by speed alone, while Dio probably can't even hit guts.

Also can someone please change Guts berserker armor image? because that is not how he looks like while using the berserker armor, that is how Skull Knight look like in the berserker armor (guts change his appearance just a moment after that)
