Grey Goo vs SCP-682

682 has fought something like Grey Goo before and spoilers, he absorbs it and goes on a rampage. Sorry, but if you want proof, look up his termination logs. One of them was with an SCP that could absorb organic material into it's mass. 682 simply adapted to that and bcame one with the SCP. Going to give it to 682, no challenge.

Also side note, 'To the death' doesn't really work with 682 unless you mention that he can't destroy the Universe upon his death. This is simply because 682 is a Universal constant and the Universe cannot exist without it.

Well Grey Goo has absorb the universe itself, and it pretty much do that in seconds, heck if it larger than the universe itself then it can absorb the universe in an instant.

But, 682 can adapt to that. He has already done it before, which means it will not work on him again.

He adapted to something that absorbed him, I think he can adapt to any form of absorbsion after that point.

Oh, well then this is new. What happens when something is absorbed by Grey Goo? Does it replicate its nanobots with the aquired matter?

Well, I don't see why 682 can't adapt to that. This thing was used to terminate 682 and this was what heppened: Termination Test Record:

A secondary sample of SCP-1361 was allowed to grow to 1,000 kg in mass. SCP-682's containment chamber was purged of acid and SCP-1361 was poured onto SCP-682 from above. SCP-1361 covered and fully engulfed SCP-682 and no activity was observed for 3 hours. In the period from 3 to 7 hours following exposure, SCP-1361 began to develop legs, jaws, and a physical appearance similar to SCP-682. SCP-1361 breached containment and attacked Foundation staff in a manner consistent with an SCP-682 breach and killed 17 personnel. SCP-1361 proved immune to small arms fire in this state; aerial dispersal of napalm was necessary to destroy sample by incineration, after which a skeletal and circulatory system identical to SCP-682 was retrieved from its remains. Remains were returned to SCP-682's containment chamber, where they regenerated into SCP-682 within 6 hours. Subsequent tissue testing indicated that SCP-682 temporarily contained DNA markers from several species present in SCP-1361, as well as temporarily exhibiting a mild scent similar to pork rinds.

How that thing can be proof that SCP-682 can adapt to Goo? like Goo can absorb the reality itself and it's at the size of universe, and from your own link:

If SCP-1361 encounters any biological matter while traveling, it will attempt to form itself around it and engulf the object. Within 15-30 minutes of engulfing a biological object, SCP-1361 will digest it and its mass and volume will increase by the mass and volume of the object engulfed

Emm honestly that creature is not even that impressive.

Ok, I suppose instant absorption will not give 682 enough time to adapt. I guess I'll wait for others to place their input and see what they think about this.

Grey Goo takes this effortlessly, any physical attack 682 does will get him absorbed. It seems that only ranged attacks damage Grey Goo

Also found weaknesses for Grey Goo:

1) touching Anything bigger than him (that tries to attack him makes him shrink by a slight amount

2)Ranged attacks seem to hurt him while physical attacks don't

3) Things that are much bigger than it (in first game) instantly kills it (for example touching the sun in last level

Are those weaknesses just for the first game? i dont remember the first two being in the second game.
