So I have recently finished watching some let's play on gravity rush and I want to talk about the stats a bit.

This will be about kats stats, but raven basically just scales to her, so it affects her as well.

First her AP reasoning:

  • "Defeated and harmed Large Nevi": as far as I recall none of those were city sized or had feats of city level durability
  • "defeated the Anemone": Same as above. Neither city sized nor has it shown city level durability feats. Its best feat would be Multi-City Block level self destruction, since it self destructing would supposedly blow up most of Vendecentre.
  • "escaped a Black Hole": Is the black hole she became at the end of gravity rush 2 meant with that? If so, that is open. But I don't really see how that justifies the AP ranking either way.
  • destroyed the Lost City's arms and its Reactor Core, which were of this size: I am not quite sure what "The Lost City" is supposed to be here. Neu Hiraleon? If so she took that out by destroying multiple smaller weakpoints, not blowing up the entire thing (which isn't city sized to begin with).
And second is her speed ranking:

"Able to react to Yunica, easily broke the sound barrier using her Shifter powers."

I am not quite sure when she demonstrated breaking the sound barrier, though that wouldn't make her hypersonic+ either way.

And scaling to Yunica is nice... but we don't have a profile for her and I wouldn't know what justifies her having that stat either.

So I would suggest finding new feats for her. I have some in mind should it be accepted that a revision is necessary.

Aside from that her profile is lacking some abilities, namely the lunar style and jupiter style. So when I am already editing the profile I would like to add those as well. (Raven lacks stuff like blue jays as well)

Opinions?

Is it better to put the characters stats at unknown then for the time being? Unless someone can present suitable evidence justifying the stats.

I suppose that's a good idea.

I will get into calculating some feats as replacement as soon as I have time, then.

Actually, her stats should be higher; let me explain:

  • spoiler alert*
In the Gravity Rush 2 DLC, Raven's Choice, Raven was able to create a new timeline which overwrote the old one. In the old one, (Gravity Rush 1's story) Raven was trying to bring the kids from Boutome into the arc, which would eventually go back up to Heckseville; however the children were asleep in the arc. In the DLC, Raven eventually creates a new timeline in which the children that ended up in Boutome never ended up there in the first place; and they instead lived normal lives in Heckseville. This is supported when Zaza's (raven's adoptive brother, that was trapped in boutome in the previous timeline) grandchildren have a chance encounter with Raven in the new timeline.

Kat herself was able to seal The Darkness, which is described as "omnipresent, existing everywhere, and represents chaos, death, decay, and destruction, among other similar aspects"

Note that they were both able to do these feats when Dusty and Xii fused together, creating what looks like a griffin.

>Implying that shifters are 2-C

No.

Rewriting a timeline through what is essentially timetravel shenanigans isn't a tier 2 feat.

And the darkness is only omnipresent in that it is the omnipresent slow decay of creation (with the world tree being swallowed by it over thousands of years).

Its manifested form isn't all that powerful.

Heck, the entire thing (manifested form and not manifested form) can be sealed in a black hole.

regardless, GR's world is so disjointed from our own (no planets, supposedly multiple world trees but only one has been explored so far, weird dimensional stuff) that it's kind of hard to even classify them into a tier.
