So reason because it's popular? I feel like that is a flawed rule as it holds back productivity in improving a verse. Also popularity is pretty subjective as anything can be popular and then die down. If that's the case, why demon slayer and solo leveling not included since they are trending/popular

If you feel like the rule is flawed you are free to make a CRT to change the requirements. As it stands, the thread needs 3 staff votes (this thread is also not the place to discuss this)
Because, as the page says, those are examples. It would be a bit unreasonable to list every single popular verse. Something like Demon Slayer should probably require 3 votes as well.

Yes you can, you can also promote the CRT here for it to gain more notice. Just know that to message a staff member you can only do it on their wall, tagging them does not work and DMs are unnecessary.

Not automatically, no. Once, iirc, 48h since the creation of the thread have passed (which already passed here), you should ask an admin to unlock the pages in case it is locked (isn't the case here) and add the accepted changes following the editing rules
