Granblue Fantasy - 3-A/2-A and Infinite Speed Upgrade

Hello. This thread shouldn't be anything too major. After looking over some information I've decided to make a attempt at tweaking the 2-B rating for the verse and those who scale to it, as well as adding infinite speed. Le's get into it with the cosmology.

(3-A) Universal, likely (2-A) Multiversal + Skydom:
Currently, the Skydom is rated with a range of 4-A, likely 2-B. Upon closer inspection of the Skydom's size and it's constituents, this should be 3-A, likely 2-A due to a number of reasons.

  • The Skydom's size has been stated as early as the first chapter of the game to be a boundless expanse. This is stated by Katalina and is conveyed through the narrator's prose in the link, and is expressed once more in the main story later on.

The infinite sky before them that once brought the joy of adventure is now overshadowed by a sense of uncertainty. Chapter 80 - Episode 2

  • Not only is the Skydom unfathomably large, but it is composed of infinite possibilities, which are all universal structures in the context of this setting.
  • The Captain is stated to be an Axis that runs through these worlds, meaning the aforementioned worlds literally hinge on the Captain's very existence.
Loki
Gran is awakening as a singularity in the truest sense—an axis that runs through infinite worlds and infinite stories.
Chapter 177 Episode 3

Skydom or Sky Realm, however you wish to call it, at it's lowest possible interpretation would be 3-A in size, and 2-A at it's highest. Therefore, any character who can currently affect one possibility would be Universal, and those who can affect them all would be Multiverse +.

Infinite Speed:
This one is simple and pretty straight forward. To get Infinite Speed we simply need to direct our attention to some weapon lore.. namely the Revenant Weapons, Two-Crown Bow, and a gun called Freikugel.
  • Casual arrows shot from a nerfed Two-Crown Bow, pierces through space-time in order to destroy the target. The very fact there is no sound produced from these arrows strongly suggests that there is no distance being traveled.

  • Tweyen with her light arrows are demonstrably superior to the Two-Crown Bow Sterling, which is the iteration that manifests the space-time piercing, and the Captain. Tweyen is only interested in doing battle after they have awakened the Two-Crown Bow to it's true power, and she demonstrates a fraction of her skill to the crew after the bow is upgraded past Sterling. Which is impressive because Vyrn, who can perceive these attacks, also feels as though she isn't hitting them on purpose, and they can hardly dodge her shots at this time.

  • The Captain is responsible for restoring the Revenant weapon's power, and it is mandatory for them to use in a fight against the respective Eternal. Only after the grueling process of fully restoring a Revenant weapon can you fight and recruit the Eternal. Tweyen makes good on her return once she notices this and how much stronger the Captain is by now, and they do battle. Tweyen is fought twice; once to recruit her, and the second is a long while after she is recruited.

  • Freikugel apparently never misses, ensuring that it's rounds hit the target even by means of bending the laws of time and space, and other variables when considering a bullet's travel are also negligible. It is a Terminus Weapon that is obtained as a drop from a high-difficulty quest called "The Tale of Bahamut's Rage", which is a quest where Proto-Bahamut goes on a rampage and the crew defeat it.

  • As the Terminus Weapon is upgraded, it is likely still inferior to the Revenant Weapon series from a lore standpoint, but still a comparable tool in it's effective use. In the case of Freikugel being accessible to Rackam, this level of combat speed is relatively accessible to the notable cast members and is treated as commonplace. This lends a degree of superiority to the Two-Crown Bow (all revenant weapons), Tweyen (all Eternals) and the Captain for being able to use it given its role in the war and only being wielded by the strongest expert of that variety of weaponry.

If this were to get accepted, it would scale to anyone that is a comparable combatant, or can at least keep pace with the Captain and Eternalsーwhich should replace the | Chapter 63+ | speed rating in the Captain's Key and any speed rating beyond that point. They would logically be faster and stronger overtime with the constant training they do and the progression of the story.

Agree : @Ruler_Star_Kuma, @Swordsaint456 (2-A), @TheGreatJedi13, @NannoKarma (2-A), @Unqver (3-A),
Neutral : @NannoKarma & @Swordsaint456 (Infinite Speed)
Disagree :

Agree with 2-A and Infinite speed.

The comparability of freikugel with Bahamut upgrades and Revenant weapons are arguable since the weapons although strong functions on different powers.
Two crown bow is a imprint stimulator for boundary
And freikugel is a weapon modified and strengthened by Proto-Bahamut.

Agree to 3-A, unless it is proven that a world encompasses the past, present, future, and present

we do not grant 3-A based on statements such as "the sky is boundless"

Can you substantiate these claims? "all universal structures" and the second statement you made

Diaagree with the infinite speed bow, the only thing remotely close here is "pierce through space and time" and in the context it was used we won't grant anything

I'm not gonna respond to the infinite speed due to issues with it with recent Anniversary which makes anyone faster than light either go infinite speed or immeasurable
Scans with black background are read from the bottom

The Sky is a timeline and is referred to as a universe by Nier/The World who plans to rebuild it
now for the context of the scans posted it is from the latest Story arc
the shards are Sky map pieces that if completed allow you to travel into Estalucia
and Captain basically scoured all infinite timelines to complete it and draw their information and power back into his own reality as in their reality and those near it have broken Sky-doms where getting the Sky map pieces are no longer possible
The Sky map being assembled

Seen and I can agree with the statements but branching timelines do not qualify as separate Spacetime continuums

since when?
I'm pretty sure DonttalkTD was very explicit that as long as there is infinitely expanding future for a branch it qualifies
I could have sworn that was not what was agreed upon in the thread I made, but well I have been inactive for a few months so maybe things have changed

No opinion of infinite speed. It would be High 3-A, not 3-A if taken literally. As for what Pain said, I do remember a CRT about that, not sure how it's been applied.

the key here is that traditional branching which becomes independent from another branch to have their own future infinitely long qualifies as an independent timeline for multiverse.

granblue has an alternate timeline where the whole reality imploded due to no longer being sustained which caused time to cease
yet it did not affect anyone who is originally from there or the main timeline.

if someone attempts to rewrite history it will simply branch out while the original timeline that was rewritten got destroyed by the otherworld

the otherworld goal is literally to force all branches to only have 1 endpoint to completely subjugate the entire multiverse

which failed hence the infinite timeline/stories/world still exist and captain actually ascended into divinity on the process
which is the entire point for the latest main story using all infinite timelines to gather all skymap in another timeline
