Goosebumps Discussion Thread

@Headless

Good start

@Everyone else

Ok this is what I'll be doing. I'll only add keys for movie versions that done something notable (I.E. Slappy, The Blob, Lawn Gnomes and The Graveyard Ghouls)

Does that sound good?

Can't remember its feats from the books. Also @Gewsbumpz I would like your opinion of my link above. Tbh feel like someone else really should do it, as I barely remember the first movie and have yet to see the second.

1. About the praying mantis. I guess the book version would be 9-B or 9-A due to it's size (Even though we never get a answer for it's size in the book. We can go over it on the cover. Since it towers over the traffic light and the average height of a traffic light according to google is 8 feet. And with some crude math and the fact it looks like 2 traffic lights tall. Its height is about 16ft)

2. A response to your link will be sent shortly after this comment is made

Issue with that is the images on the front of Goosebumps books aren't always accurate to the creatures in the book, iirc. Still, I did assume 9-B was reasonable, iirc they were larger that a car? It has been a while since I read the books, and tbh I mostly only read things with Slappy.

He does appear in the comic. And since we are talking about the covers. And since Curly never appeared in an book and only on special edition book covers and merch. I Guess it is possible to make a profile on him by going off the covers.

And picture

I'm assuming this ghost in this cover is Curly because out of all the other monsters in the series he is the most similar looking and in all the other special edition books he is in the cover. So I guess he would also have Intangibility and Transformation (Turning into a ghost)?

I don't know if he should have Self-Sustenance since he is a organless skeleton. But we also see him drinking beverages and going to bed in multiple covers as seen here and dress up as an astronaut as seen in the following picture, so he might need air. Its either that or its just Goosebump's inconsistency again.
