Goosebumps Discussion Thread

I have a question for the Goosetards to solve while I'm gone, how strong are full grown adult Horrors?.

Baby horrors have enough power to break through wooden doors. So we can assume that a adult horror is much stronger then that, But the question is how much stronger.

Probably just put "Higher as adults" or something.

No I don't actually lol. Anyway the new profiles should get some matches. I am in a mood for Goosebumps debating.

Idea: we should have a tournament with the goosebumps monsters. Like have some 9-C monsters fight each other at first and then go higher and higher (which most likely would end with 9-B since most of the monsters range from 10-A to 9-B)

Well a 9-C Curly would have a lot of trouble considering what he is going up against (Shapeshifting aliens, time traveling executioner, a sentient plant creature that can clone itself and slappy himself). But a 9-B curly would be some competition for the other monsters, even though I'm pretty sure he would lose to the masked mutant.

Even taking the masked mutant out of the question he still have trouble against the graveyard ghouls, the abomidable snowman, the blob and king jellyjam

And one of those non-c's has soul manipulation. And even if you're non-c you aren't immune to mind manipulation, pain manipulation and BFR.

Even without those abilities some of the other goosebumps monsters can get around this. Like the lord high executioner can just travel back in time and kill Curly.

Is there any rule that says so? About not scaling werewolves from each other in the goosebumps verse even though the only real difference between them is how they became werewolves. Like I did the exact thing with the mummie page and no one had a issue with that. And after all we already did that with the will blake page.

In most other fictions creatures like werewolves and such have variations within the monster type. We have no reason to assume they are = unless stated. Same with Mummies, as there are specific mummies in the verse, and all of them likely don't share the same feats, abilities, etc. They are a type of monster, not a species. Similar to having a cobra scale to a constrictor. One has abilities like poison, the other has AP. Both are snakes, but don't scale. Or, better example, ghosts. Even in real life myth, ghosts and spirits don't directly scale to each other, physically or with abilities. Just because one can lift and throw things like a piano or can start fires or cause bad luck doesn't mean all have those abilities.

Alright then, good point.

Sidenote: While I'm away from my computer (which means I can't make profiles) I've been making notes for the up coming haunted car profile I'm planning to make.

The haunted car is a 1986 sports corvette which has the top speed of 125 mph (which is 55 m/s. Which according to this wiki would make her subsonic) and normal cars going at that speed can destroy other cars, which would be 9-A according to this wiki. And in the book she was so fast she dodged a train. So she would have Small Building level AP, dura (scaling to AP) and striking strength along with subsonic speed. For abilities, here is a list.

Superhuman Physical Characteristics Inorganic Physiology (Type 1) Self-Sustenance (Types 1, 2 and 3) Non-Corporeal for the spirit inside the car Heat Manipulation (Made it so cold inside her it nearly killed Mitchell and the windows begin to frost)

For weaknesses. Well if the spirit haunting the car fails her mission in time (which was to kill Mitchell so they can swap places) she will be banished from the real world and trapped in the afterworld

For stats like gender and age.

Name: Becka, Marissa (to trick Mitchell), the haunted car

Age: 13

Gender: Female

Classification: Ghost, Possessed motor vehicle

Now for the movie version and if I'll put it in. I'll just let you goosebumpers (and Goosetards) decide.

Bump also i think Murder The Clown, Monster Blood, Haunted Car, Madame Doom, Count Nightwing, The Beasts From The East, Egg Monsters From Mars, Mud Monster, Fifi The Vampire Poodle, Della, Annihilator 3000, Sea Monster From Deep Trouble, The Phantom, Samantha Byrd, Andrew Craw, The Worms, The Ooze, Jack Johnson, Captain Long Ben One-Leg, Bradon Plush, Zombies, Byron should be added

I'm just gonna say this to people that are requesting goosebumps characters. Please don't go crazy with them, and don't request so much at the same time, its starting to get annoying and a bit overwhelming.

My Profiles: 25

Everyone else's: 9

It is pretty safe to say that I'm doing a good job at making the Goosebumps verse on this wiki better
