It is true, he is not aware that he has this power to quite literally change the fate of the world, but that doesn't mean it doesn't work. All he has to do is to want to do something (so going by SBA, defeating Goku), and he will achieve that no matter what. However, if he were to know that he had this ability he would likely get creative with it and abuse the hell out of it and wish for things that normally would seem very unlikely to happen, as he would know that through manipulating fate in his favor anything would be possible. Killing Shadow doesn't help Goku either as even if Shadow dies, if at the moment of his death Shadow still wanted to defeat Goku his wish will (almost) instantly be granted and Goku would simply just die by fate.

This whole "Goku simply dies if he kills a Shadow who wants to defeat him" would still end in an inconclusive though, as lets not forget in this case Goku would still beat Shadow, its just a "revenge from the grave" scenario. It is unknown how long it would take for Shadow to have his wish be granted. Sure it is instant the moment he dies but in Shadow Fight 3's story this power works in his favor over the course of a good 10 years for him to slowly but surely achieve his goal to destroy the world. It could be delayed this much because in the Shadow Fight universe everybody has this same power like him (it doesn't help that Bolo, the guy who was the second to Shadow in importance at that time in the story wanted and was actively trying to prevent Shadow from destroying the world, and along with so many other people who hated him and wanted to prevent his world-ending plans from happening). Shadow's Descendant dedicated many, many years to study this power, and in one of his examples of it he pretty much explained that a person as important as Shadow would achieve his goal so effortlessly and fast that he wouldn't even remember how he did it. Again, in universe Shadow has never faced any uprising from someone who didn't have his form of fate manipulation that he has, so I don't really know what could happen if he were to face against a character who lacks this power.

I thought shadows fate manip would be instant FIRST UP because he would already have the intention/will to defeat goku since its SBA. Shadows will = fate hax
