goku shaking the universe

i heard that goku and beeruses punches were shaking the universe to near destruction, so why isn't his attack potency much higher.


please know that i am not that much of a DBZ fan it's just that it seemed weird.

Mostly because backwards ass physics. The shockwaves were "more powerful" the further they got away from the source, which is simply not how it works.
