The Super manga also makes note of Mr. Popo's speech about optimizing his movements during Goku's realization of Ultra Instinct, so at the very least, his Super manga counterpart should retain the ability.

Yes! But maybe Krillin still got way more stronger, because he was close to (friendly) entities extracting ridiculous amounts of energy from the Source/Absolute. That makes sense both on Zen Budhism, Taoism and Shinto.
 
I can agree with this. I should note that abilities like this typically carry over to later iterations. Basically, if you learn it, you can use it whenever; plain and simple. Only exception is if something winds up being rendered useless.

Goku being dumb enough to think marriage is a food item and having no idea what s** is after having a child doesn't disqualify that especially when Goku really knows what he's doing in the combat spectrum.
