Gojo Vs Woody

I was saying it doesn't matter if it's equalized or not because I personally think the match doesn't work either way.
Eh, if Woody can bypass it then the arguments would still be valid, this being a decisive win doesn't make it a stomp, as noted in the page:

  • Both characters have several methods of winning. However, one character can reliably use/activate their winning move(s) first.
  • One character has more ways to win than the other, but the other character wins more times than not due to matchup specifics that allow/cause them to use their winning move(s) immediately.

If Woody has infinite speed then Gojo literally could never pull off his win-cons as Woody would have infinite time to move as Gojo has finite speed. He has a way to win, but it is impossible to pull off.

That'd depend on if he can do that while Speed is Equalized (especially as that's how it was ever since the start of the match), which'd loop back to the start of the topic.

Hey, while you're here, can you please comment on whether Infinite Speed still enables to bypass Gojo's Infinity while Speed is Equalized? The conversation on that starts here if you'd want to evaluate further, but the overall consensus relies on some mod comment to settle this.
as much as i'd like to say it does

infinite speed doesn't bypass infinity while speed is equalized. infinity works by sorting things that are moving and adding space inbetween gojo and the object. if his speed is dwindled down to his level then it can be tracked by his infinity

when it says "abilities that are given due to speed" it's referring to things like the flash time traveling through speed or aang making tornadoes when running or sonic's many attributes shown inverse. but abilities not shown wouldn't work.

woody does nothing of the sort inverse. he doesn't utilize his speed to do impossible feats. same way we don't give acausality to characters who scale to immeasurable speed and such

so technically woody would be screwed

Infinity saves the day once again, put me in agreement with Gojo winning, also wouldn't this be a stomp ?

It should be a stomp unless Gojo for some reason chose to not use Infinity. Woody can't do jack to hit Gojo anymore and eventually Gojo would probably use his LS wincon after slamming Woody with attacks for a while and realizing nothing hurts him.

I'm pretty sure that now either Woody has no win condition and is thus stomped in speed equal, or Woody just stomps with Speed non-equal, so yeah.

i mean does Im Type 1 work on higher levels or would it be NLF to assume that works

ALso Woody has inorganic physiology, so i lean to inc

Immortality is useless as Gojo can incap Woody for an applicable timeframe to win.

BTW, I've gone ahead and removed the match from the profiles given this revelation, unless I'm missing something this thread can be closed.
