Gobta is just in the wrong place at the wrong time.

It's 3rd key not core
Arthur is a CQC merchant and really good at it too
How far do they start from each other?
Arthur's passive fear hax (3 layers I think) would be an issue if Gobta ends up close to Arthur
Arthur's advantage includes:
  • Fear hax
  • CM 2 based time stop
  • Massive LS advantage
  • Slight AP advantage (400 vs 550) in normal state with Art having a 4x amp on that
  • Bunch of damage reduction that makes CQC very annoying for his opponents
  • Power Nullification (not sure how that fares against Gobta's resistance) but Art's stuff is layered
Disadvantages
  • Realmheart drains him. Enough for a normal fight but an extended one can be problematic
  • Gobta's Perception amp

Some notable advantages I notice for Gobta include
  • Magic and Skill's nature is much stronger and complex than Arthur's.
  • Due to being a Magic-born, he will resist most of the magic, and some of the hax Arthur has.
  • Can summon Ranga (Specifically, pre-harvest key)
  • His perception will make it extremely hard for Arthur to hide anything.
  • Gobta's AD, Tensura beings evolve extremely fast, and it becomes stronger the more danger he is in, and the longer the fight lasts.
  • Gobta's Perception amp's and his perception is much stronger.
  • Due to the "skills" in Tensura being unique, they are unlikely to be power nullified, but Gobta rarely uses magic outside of Shadow motion and Summon wolf.

Some noteworthy disadvantages
  • Gobta is easily frightened
  • Gobta's is only smart when it comes to combat, so he can copy techniques when he sees them, but with anything else, he is quite dumb.
  • Can't do anything against time-stop (nor can Ranga)

These are the ones I can think of right now. I will update it later, when I can find more.
