Counted but Shinichi does have a pretty big upper hand in close combat.

I've only ever seen the Slayer use 1 sword/weapon at a time, while Migi (Shinichi's parasite) is the equivalent of like 3 freely flailing swords. In addition to Shinichi who can aid in the battle as he sees fit. The parasite also has quite a bit more range compared to any short-ranged weaponry in Slayer's arsenal.

I'd say Slayer's best bet here is his fire or longbow since close combat with Migi doesn't seem like it'd go well at all. Fire specifically is very good against parasites.
