Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think Femto has anything that passively nullifies GER's power. He could possibly beat GER if he did manage to take action, though breaking through the hax is a tall order.

From what i recall GER is nullified by Acausality, which Femto may have...

I not sure how his acausality truly work as he never really use his ability to the fullest(I don't remember him use it on battle) and I don't think any acausality will automatically negate GER since acausality just like any other power such as reality warping or conceptual manipulation should has it own level.

I honestly don't understand Femto's acausality, from his profile I think it's because he exists outside of the story? Isn't acausality just immunity to cause and effect?

Giorno wins if Femto actually isn't acausal, Femto if he is acausal

Acausality - "Acausality is defined as the ability to exist outside of causality, or the natural flow of manipulation defined by cause and effect.

An entity that is acausal has no true beginning or end, and is thus essentially immune to offensive causality manipulation and time travel. Even if you go back in time and kill an acausal being in the past or prevent him/her/it from being born/created, it will still exist in the present and other timelines."

In situations like this doesn't it go by feats? From my understanding it wasn't definitively shown that Femto's acausal, only stated by another character. And in somewhat vague terms; "He now exists beyond the reason of physical world, where no one in the mortal realm can threaten him. It would be akin to someone in a story challenging the one who wrote it."

I assume this is referring solely to the fact Femto exists in the astral realm and whatever other planes of existence there are. Some evidence for that is that Guts' Dragonslayer can harm Femto, since it's been bathed in so much demon blood that it now exists in both mortal and astral planes.

Here's the Berserk wiki entry on Femto's acausality (or what's been shown of it so far);

Causality Manipulation: Like the other God Hand members, Griffith can see the design of Causality, but only to an extent that barely borders omniscience. This enables him to foresee almost any possibility and influence the course of events to ensure one possibility becomes a reality.

It sounds like he can only read a number of possible futures, which you'll recognise as almost the same kind of ability that got shut down by GER against King Crimson. It doesn't sound like he stands outside of time itself. This may change as Berserk goes on (for another 30 years lol) but for now, I see Giorno winning or stalemating.

As far as I remember aside from that statement he never show any other Acausality feats. and his Causality at best is only planetary level(can only affect people on entire planet)

yeah that statement about his "acausality" can probably more appropriately be interetted as femto not being a part of the normal world, since he resides in the astral world, and is hence out of the range of guts' efforts

its probably more about femto existing outside of guts' sphere of influence, and him "writting the story" is more like him being in a safe distance and sending his minions to fight guts and shape guts' fate by plotting the course of life he wants for guts by manipulating people and demons to shape guts' journey

I believe this match is inconclusive because Giorno can nullify anything Femto can do via causality manipulation. But GER can't touch Femto because of his non-corporeality and type 9 immortality.

Also people seem to forget (or are completely ignorant to the fact) that GER needs to kill its opponent before putting them in an endless loop of death. This of course is irrelevant to immortals. Unless someone has proof of GER bypassing immortality.

What? GER isn't nullifing Griffith's astral form. He's nullifing Griffith's attacks directed at him. GER needs multi-dimensional range to reach Griffith's true form.

Except GER does have multi-universal range though?

Still changing my vote to inconclusive. Even if GER can use it's abilities across dimensions, it still needs to kill in order to be able to execute the LOD, and cannot physically touch Femto.

Oh no. You are not bringing up the same argument about the astral plane you did in the Lucifer v Griffith thread. Literally everyone there disagreed with you.

The astral world has been firmly established to be an additional word that overlaps the human world. It would be easier for a character with multiversal range to reach, not harder.

Stop trying to use the appeal to popularity fallacy. Also learn what "overlap" means, affecting parallel worlds doesn't translate to affecting a world that's beyond your existence.

@BlackExcellence

If your argument got disapproved by everyone in a previous thread, it's not a fallacy to ignore it when you bring it up again. It's common sense.

Your argument was that Lucifer, a being with multi-versal teleportation, would be unable to reach the astral plane. Everybody disagreed.

Considering that GER has multiversal range, he would be able to reach the Astral world as well

So in conclusion to this , femto being in another plane just means his in a separate dimension where regular humans can't reach .🗿
Makes sense to me

I'm impressed but also bruh.

For future reference check the dates before bumping, if they're past a certain age, you should avoid bumping for many reasons, least of which is it's likely long been outdated, plus it bumps down newer active threads.
