Wouldn't this be a haxstomp in the Genie's favor? I mean transmutation, reality warping, regeneration that is around Majin Buu's (which Goku wouldn't have known how to deal with at the time), three types of immortality. This bearing in mind that outside of movies and filler Toei Goku is roughly the same as he was in the manga.

Also, Goku pretty much has to touch someone to Instant-Transmission someone in order to instant-transmission them. Genie probably doesn't need to do anything but use magic to use all of his abilities.
