Genie Disney Question

There was an episode in the animated series where Genie and Eden (a female genie) did the magical genie hug which legend says that it returns the genies; powers. Does this mean that the Genie is back at full power after this?
 
I do not think that he ever displayed that scale of power afterwards, but I do not remember so well.
