War rages on the battlefield, each side mercilessly slaughtering the other, until only two remain: the mightiest of troops, the generals.

One is an Imperial Arms user, one of the strongest of her kind. She decides this enemy should be given the chance to show their strength before bowing to her like everyone else, unbenownst to her this opponent's true potential.

The one facing her is a Mage, one whose Magic is unrivaled. She is not even considering to use her strongest spells and weapons on a single person, one who she thinks is beneath her, just like the rest.

They stand parallel to one-another, both having sadistic grins on their faces. Their absolute bloodlust and desire for battle has peaked...

...and only one may come out alive...

Rules:

• Speed Equalized.

• Ren cannot use any of the Darkness Orbs & her gambeson, and will only use casual spells in this fight, whereas Esdeath's in her base, but everything's allowed for her.

• In-character.

• Win by death only.

• The battle takes place on a grassy plain, full of dead bodies.

• Other than those, Standard Battle Assumptions apply.

Just to point out though: Ren's most likely weaker than Esdeath in close combat, & they both don't know the extent of their abilities. Ren would most likely use a powerful ability first like her weapon creation spam in an attempt to bring Esdeath to despair before using something weaker. But Esdeath wouldn't have that, and seeing how she knows how dangerous Ren can be, she may pull a Mahapadma.

Though as I said before, Ren would probs start with weapon spam to reveal the extent of her power (well, at least casual power), which would give Esdeath a gauge on how much of a threat Ren is.
