Say, there's God, who exists beyond and oversees all existence accross past, present and future. Now he's protected from any attacks from anything below him and he's the one responsible for giving powers to the verse.

In the verse, at every moment in time, new characters are granted various new powers, as well as resistances which trumps those before them. Let's use an interval of 10 years, if the timeline is infinite, doesn't it imply that God himself has infinite powers?

He's inaccessible to the infinite layers that the verse is cooking across the infinite timeline so its safe to say having infinite layers will not help you bypass his defense? Plus, he can also easily customize characters with resistances and hax that bypasses the resistance of those before them.

yes but that would assume that within those infinite times there is always progress without entropy or regression
since by your logic, there will be infinite layers of progression and infinite layers of regression that can happen so it might not even reach the so-called infinite layer.

also putting the same analogy that infinite space doesn't also mean infinite humans/living beings. the same can apply here

but tbf if he exist beyond it and oversee existence across past present and future he would be already a higher dimension above them because he exist beyond its timeline/spacetime
in a sense saying he has infinite layers in those 3D space that these characters are cooking is also downplaying it because
base 4D resistance/HDE > infinite 3D layers
