Freezing calc?

Can we calc the amount of coldness is needed to freeze the sun in matter of seconds? If yes, what would be the result?

Low temperature is one, but the density and/or heat capacity of the matter absorbing the sun's thermal energy would also need to be taken into account. Outer space doesn't absorb thermal energy and is only AZ due to the absence of matter altogether and not to be confused with liquid Nitrogen and other Refrigerant chemicals which possess heavy amounts of fusion energy thus making them very dense or have high heat capacities enabling it to freeze objects on contact faster. It's for that reason that surviving in space does not grant resistance to extreme cold, but surviving being buried in snow or swimming in liquid nitrogen would.

so not getting effected by cold that was able to freezs the sun, would it grant anything ?

Yes, it would still be resistance to extreme cold, but there's going to be talks about withstanding extreme heat or cold not being the same as withstanding blunt force trauma. But not ready to tackle that plus I have to go to RL work now.

I-I'm pretty sure I've seen a bunch of profiles that were given resistance to extreme cold because they survived in space.. unless I just misunderstood the context.

Yeah, a lot of those were added long before clarifications were made. But after clarifications, it was removed from a lot of profiles but there are still plenty left over yet to be updated.
