i made a blog on the original vs battle wiki, but i was told to post it here soooooo
In episode 4 of FLCL, you can see once haruko hits the ball back it causes a massive earthquke, im here to determine the energy released that moment.
I think either a earthquake with a magnitude of 5-5.9, or 6-6.9, as no large buildings seemed to be harmed, but small, wooden houses were decimated, so a 6 seems to be in line.
according to https://www.volcanodiscovery.com/earthquakes/energy.html a earthquake with a magnitude of 5 or 6, release 500 tons of tnt(low end 5) or an equivalent to 15 kilotons of tnt(high end) high end seems more likely, as the the ball when going into the sky had the energy to completely clear some clouds, and disperse tons of air. according to this page that seems to be around low 7-C
correct me if i'm wrong please!
