Some requests of my own:

The elite Fist of the North Star characters currently have Extraordinary Genius ratings for their general intelligence. That should probably be changed to "Above Average. Extraordinary Genius in martial arts." or something similar.

Would somebody be willing to create a revision thread with this purpose and then inform me about it please?

Currently, FOTNS top tiers are Extraordinary Genius for Kenshiro (Hokuto no Ken)
(Kenshiro stands as the single most skilled fighter in his setting, surpassing all his predecessors and having absolute mastery over every single martial art displayed throughout the series. He has uncanny precision, to the point of being able to strike a pressure point as small as the tip of a pin with a strand of hair. His memory is refined to the point that he's able to memorize up to 50,000 words after reading them once. His technique and grace are unrivaled. He's capable of mastering an opponent's martial art after seeing it once, to the point where he can simply nullify its effects and see right through it. He can copy and adapt to incredibly complex techniques on the fly, such as when he adapted to Anryū Tenha's space-warping ability, when he surpassed Solia's prowess in Gento Kō Ken [a martial art once deemed to be more deadly than Hokuto Shinken and with 2000 years of history], after only seeing a single move of said style or when he managed to fight Raoh to a standstill and would have killed him had he not been stopped, despite Toki stating only minutes prior that Ken didn't even have a 1% chance of defeating Raoh. He's stated to have "infinite potential" in terms of technique and combat prowess multiple times throughout the series. Scales significantly above Toki, who, with his sheer skill and talent, bent Raoh's fate and manifested his harbinger of death. Shown multiple times throughout the series to be capable of demolishing entire armies all by himself, stated by enemy soldiers to "march calmly, unstoppable, through thousands of soldiers like he was in the middle of an empty field", casually crushed both Falco's and Jakoh's armies at the same time. Even before his final fight against Raoh and achieving Muso Tensei, he was unfathomably above combatants such as the Red Berrets, who are each capable of defeating 500 soldiers at the same time, and defeated their general with his eyes closed. In that same fight Ken states that due to the nature of Hokuto Shinken's transmission, it's like he has 1800 years worth of combat experience and training, he was an assassin from the very moment he was born. Hokuto Shinken's very nature is of one adaptability and it has infinite fighting variations in order to overcome every obstacle and opponent, no matter the difference in strength.)

It's good, but should also be limited to those who actually matched Ken, gave him a hard time or were seriously praised by him.

What do you mean? As is detailed in our rules, we should always separate different areas of intelligence for characters that are strictly savants in martial arts, but not similarly extremely intelligent in general.

Well most fighters only matched Ken in combat skills, but not in extraordinary genius intelligence in other aspects.

Well, some fighters learn some extra skills on his own, Amiba was less skilled than Toki but he still managed to discover Seieikou for Raoh.

IIRC Shin, Jagi, Yuda, Thouther, Raoh and Falco led an army and a big city state (?). Even smaller gang leaders whom Ken one-shot could lead small clans and small bands of armed mobs. Ken did not like actual ruling of any land - he thought staying in a land for too long will just pull the land to misery and disaster and bloodshed as he believes it is his destiny to stay solitude and remain alone.

I mean that some opponents do wound or surprise Ken at times, either because he holds back or for plot reason, but to actually scale them to him they must demonstrate to actually be even to him, we can't make EG every guy who landed a blow on him.

And yeah, of course we won't scale them in anything but martial prowess.

Well, the main concern with Ant is that most touki practitioners are skilled martial artists sure, but how much goes to which category?
And if we consider leadership qualities as intelligence, how do we classify them?

I have made a list that showed that Ken is far more a martial arts master than some country leader. My focus on this thread is to discuss how to measure and scale intelligence for FOTNS.

We group together the personal accomplishments of each character than give them a full rating if they stand out in things other than Martial Arts, otherwise we give them Whatever, G/EG in Martial Arts

Yes, my concern here is to make certain that the characters are not mainly intelligent in martial arts, and have far lesser intelligence otherwise.

What are their greatest feats outside of martial arts basically? Their general intelligence statistics should most likely scale from that instead.

I agree with the EG being just for martial arts, although I think Kasumi Kenshiro should be a genius outside of martial arts for his superhuman reading and memorization speed plus his incredible medical knowledge, and Roh should be a normal genius outside of martial arts for being an excellent general, ruler, and leader.

Genius seems fine for Kasumi Kenshiro then, but the feats you mentioned for Raoh likely only qualify for Gifted intelligence.

How about the fact that he turned a ragtag army into the largest and strongest army in Japan?

If that isn't Genius, then I'm fine with him being gifted outside of fighting.

So far:
Skilled in combat:
All touki practitioners

For skills other than direct combat:

Gifted:
Thouther(?), Raoh, Falco (managed a multi-city armyand a state)
Toki (further developed ways in turning touki into medical uses)

Genius/Extraordinary Genius:
Kenshiro (first to fully master Musou Tensei)
Kasumi Kenshiro (his superhuman reading and memorization speed plus his incredible medical knowledge, somehow mastered "an incomplete Musou Tensei")

Average human:
Random human

Above average human:
Mob leaders

At least above average human, possibly gifted?:
Shin, Jagi, Yuda (managed a large army for a city state)

Would turning a ragtag army into the largest and most well-organized army in Japan make him a genius military wise?

The rest is fine, though.

That is probably fine then, but the two Kenshiros should probably only get "At least Genius" general intelligence.

Thank you. Please check through the other FotNS character profile pages as well, to see if they also need to be modified.

Thank you. Tell us here when you are done.

I will check.

Is it just a matter of altering the current ratings? Because we haven't gathered any more things or drafted new descriptions for the individual characters afaik

That is true. Does anybody here have suggestion?

Above average human:
Mob leaders, village leaders
Amiba (A self-proclaimed genius and was able to research more potential uses of Hokuto Shinken after learning the basics of it from Jagi)

At least above average human:
Shachi (Shachi is an intelligent and skilled martial artist)

At least above average human, possibly gifted:
Shin, Jagi, Yuda (managed and led a large army for a city state)
Hyoh, Han (Fist of the North Star) (serves as generals under Kaioh)

Gifted:
Kaioh (Leader of Land of Asura)
Souther, Raoh, Falco (managed a multi-city army and state)
Toki (Hokuto no Ken) (further developed ways in turning touki into medical variants)

Genius/Extraordinary Genius:
Kenshiro (Hokuto no Ken) (first to fully master Musou Tensei)
Kasumi Kenshiro (his superhuman reading and memorization speed plus his incredible medical knowledge, somehow mastered "an incomplete Musou Tensei")

Others generally fall into
"At least above average human" for any touki practitioner who is not shown to lead
"At least above average human, possibly gifted" for any touki practitioner who leads an army

I already put Kasumi as Genius and Raoh as gifted.

That is probably fine. Thank you for helping out.

Yes, thanks a lot for helping out.

So what do we currently need to do here then?

Okay. What do we need to do here after the intelligence revisions though?
