Fate(Series) Scaling

I've seen people claim that every character scales ridiculously high, some even claiming most are minimum multiversal, but that seems to clash with their otherwise lackluster durability, speed, range, lifting strength, and AP feats that seem to be infinitely more consistent with below planetary. Especially on the powerscaling reddit, people seem to regard servants as far higher than anything they've actually displayed due to hyperbole when feats suggest far lower.

Am I just being a party pooper? Should I really just accept such massive high end scaling even if it's inconsistent with standard feats? It just feels disingenous to me to scale them to beyond universal when they many of these characters can be defeated or damaged by building level opponents just because a few characters make outlandish statements.

why don't you scale the verse yourself and make your own opinion
It's less about the actual scaling and my own hangups when dealing with outlandish highballs. That's why I've sought out opinions on the matter rather than just say "Dismiss all highballs entirely if they are inconsistent". Again, I'd like to know how others deal with such scenarios when scaling.
