ALTERNATE TITLE: SWIM INTO THE LIGHT

Yet another mansion ecology match, and what better way to do it than involve the same gang of the first one... Man, this is what I get for having little to no ideas for matches.
● ------------------------------------- ●
The mansion having wildlife isn't anything new but what was always a surprise was how they were being kept. This was found out when the exploration group encountered a park where flesh-eating deer roamed freely. Along with the specimen that roamed the place and it was a miracle that nobody was lost on the way out.

"That's the last one," Mike said while blocking the door behind him.
"F*ck! What'd they have to do to those poor deer to give them a taste for f*cking human flesh!" Jesse complained while catching his breath.

"There are no obligate herbivores in nature. Any animal when given the opportunity can choose to eat meat if needed," Wednesday bluntly explained.
"F*cking hell, f*ck you nature!" the drug cook cursed at the door before leaning against glass.

"What is this place anyway?" The group stood over a balcony of sorts sticking out of an aquarium. The waters were clear as blue light overshadowed the dark area. Despite the clarity, no lifeforms could be seen even with close inspection. What could be gleaned from however were the quiet whispers. With so many people in the area, questions were asked of who was making the noises, the chatter disguising the intensifying words.

Until a bolt of light passed through the place.

"Hey! Don't look at the glass!" a voice was heard from below. Looking down, a spectacled girl in a peculiar outfit stood, carrying behind her a pair of unconscious figures. They seemed to be lifted up by little flame creatures which considering the place, wasn't an odd occurrence. Unfortunately due to the nature of humans, a few of them ended up looking at the growing mass of green which began to approach.

"Why can't this ever be easy. Stul-kadas!" the girl exclaimed as she held up a wand. In an instant, an entire area was rendered immune to the voices, allowing them to notice what was happening and snap the others out of it.
"Jesse, get the others! Don't let them look! Hey, don't look at that! Look at me!" Walter stated as he tried to snap another thug out of his daze.

"Sir I can't, it's moving my-" the man's neck moved on its own despite his best effort before falling limp.
"Oh no no no no! Uh, how does Akko do that again? Right, I think it goes like this!" the girl held her wand up once more, sending a wave of strange bubbling noises through the area.

Inside the tank, the mass of green lights began to turn as it too heard a set of voices, though these ones were aimed at it instead...

Both get solo'd by the Post-Auditor Absorption Tricky in the rules, unfortunately. Rip my shark goat.

Comiphorous resisting the urge to plug Lorenzo Waterman's profile again for the 6th time in an hour

Onto the actual match, Mesmer is at a heavy disadvantage here. Eyefestation can very easily kill them at range with their brain melting radiation. Mesmer using telepathy to pull Eyefestation closer to it might get it killed, but i suppose that depends on how smart a Mesmer is.

what's the AP on a mesmer? Eyefestation obviously scales to real life Bull Sharks.

Gonna be real, I'm unsure. Should be the dura to tank lava on account of the lizards and the suit but for some reason, putting the value into the TNT converter puts it at 3.2 tons of TNT which doesn't seem right
Definitely doesn't seem right. I suppose we can come back to that, it's not super important in this fight considering one uses durability negation for it's primary attack method, and i doubt they aren't too far off AP wise.

Does the Mesmer know about Eyefestation's durability negation? I have a funny feeling that it'll use it's telepathy to accidentally lure eyefestation over to it and get it's brain melted on sight.

The issue is that they're both animals so I'm unsure if prior knowledge would help (I just realized that Mesmer has Average intelligence. That's actually kinda insane and somewhat sensible)

I'd say considering the average intelligence, and being able to manipulate technology to change information about themselves they are at least smart enough to use prior knowledge like that.

Mesmers are melee. Their range isn't that good, and they certainly can't mind control something to **** off forever.

You could argue it could mind control Eyefestation to flip itself over on it's back and let it die within a few minutes. But that'd require it to know it's a bullshark and that a bullshark would die doing that so that aint happening

It isn't mentioned on the profiles for some reason, but Mesmer and a lot of other species can apparently live in radiation contaminated areas without suffering any ill effects.

A Mesmer can deal 35 damage to the Player which is a little more than that of a Stalker (30) whose bite can tear through metal and deal minor damage to the Seamoth, a 9-A submarine. The Crabsnake who can deal the same amount of damage as the Mesmer has a win against a Great White Shark on its profile while the Stalker has a win against a Pilosaurus.

Considering Eyefestation's radiation can immediately melt people's brains to mush, i'd reckon their radiation resistance isn't strong enough to resist it's since normal humans can be around the aurora's radiation without protection.

They die pretty quickly to it. Expendables lack any way to deal with the radiation but they don't die immediately upon gazing at it so it shouldn't be an instakill. I'm not sure if "melting" should be taken literally either both because Expendables can survive brief exposure to it and because radiation in real life can only cause permanent cellular damage to your brain at best.
It's also stated on Ryley's profile that the Aurora's radiation is powerful enough to cause a mass extinction event.

If urbanshade says that their brain melts from looking at it, then thats what happens. it makes no sense to put misinformation in a information document for your employees. And when urbanshade does occassionally put misinfromation into their documents, a seperate redacted section is used to explain that it was misinformation for higher personnel. it can be assumed they're telling the truth about melting the person's brain.

The player being able to survive brief exposure to it is clear game mechanics to make Eyefestation more fair, just like most of Eyefestation's tweaks in game like having multiple of them showing up at once. the document never even implies there's a safe dosage of it and just says simply looking at them will melt the person's brain.
It's also stated on Ryley's profile that the Aurora's radiation is powerful enough to cause a mass extinction event.
Which the aurora never does during the in game events, which take days upon days. Clearly the radiation isn't as powerful as the profile seems to imply.
