Exponential Error in the Storm Calculations(?)

The values used for the areas in the "Table of Results using CAPE and Different Real-Life Examples" section, are also all off by 3 orders of magnitude.

Eh, reason I wanted someone to check the values.

@Deathstroke: If I understand it correctly the problem is that those two values seem too decrease compared to the former?

Looking at it, I think it might have been an error in the table before I edited it , in that the values also strangely get lower (I just modified the old values, not recalculated them). I will check the two values.

@Liger: The areas? Which ones?

  • Vatican City
  • Malta
  • New York City
  • Rhode Island
  • Hawaii
  • Japan
  • California
  • Texas
  • Alaska
  • Brazil
  • Arctic/Indian/Pacific Ocean
  • All of the Earth's oceans
  • Surface area of the entire Earth.
I don't think that the user who created the page converted km^2 to m^2 correctly.

Urgh, I see.

Great, that means I can recalculate 150 values.... agai.

I'm really tempted to just delete the entire table...

Looking at the pages that link there, I don't think so.

I will for now just delete the table, until I have the motivation to recalc it.
