Explaining Pokemon Type Equivalents

Given that this topic comes up a lot, I've elected to make a thread on it, signifying what translates into a type when performed by a character outside of Pokemon. Hopefully everyone agrees with it.

First U gotta know about the different types: Grass, Fire, Ground, Flame, Electric, Water, Rock, Flying, Ice, Normal, Bug, Ghost, Fighting & Dragon... Don't forget about Psychic!

Kudos to those who get the reference ovo

Grass = Plant & Solar manipulation

Fire = Fire, Magma, Heat, Nuclear(maybe?), Explosion(unlikely) & Lava Manipulation

Ground = Earth & Sand Manipulation

Electric = Electricity & Plasma Manipulation

Water = Duh

Rock = Attacks that involve rocks hitting the target (that aren't on fire)

Flying = Air Manipulation & attacks using wings or beaks. And no, there's no substitute for wings and beaks.

Ice = Duh. ABZ is included, obviously.

Normal = Regular punches and kicks

Bug = N/A (maybe certain attacks from insects)

Ghost = Soul, Curse & occasionally Darkness Manipulation. Antimatter Manipulation if you're a member of the Creation Quartet, but other than that... Also, a good amount of Ghost type moves are based around grudges and fear, so that might be a thing.

Fighting = N/A. People might say martial arts, but most punching and kicking moves are of other types, mostly normal. Some people might say chi, but Pokemon's equivalent is Infinite Energy, which has no specific type. Even if you wanna say its equivalent is aura due to Lucario and M08, it's been seen being fighting, dragon, psychic, and even dark type.

Dragon = N/A. Draconic aura, maybe, given Dragon Pulse. Maybe just attacks from dragons on a case-by-case basis? Time & Spatial Manipulation if you're part of the Creation Quartet, but other than that...

Psychic = Mind & Memory Manipulation, Telekinesis, Precognition, Magic, Telepathy, & (maybe) some forms of Reality Warping. Maybe others. Psychic is both, easy and hard to determine.

(oh, and Poison, Dark, Steel, and Fairy. And Flame's not a thing)

Poison = Poison, Smoke(maybe?), & Acid Manipulation

Dark = Darkness Manipulation & sneak attacks/underhanded tactics. Potentially evil aura, given Dark Pulse.

Steel = Metal Manipulation. Attacks with metal weapons (i.e.: spears, non-explosive guns, swords, brass knuckles, etc.)

Fairy = N/A. Dragon suggested Air and Light Manipulation, but Light Manipulation is too broad. Lunar Manipulation would qualify, however. Moonblast and Moonlight are both Fairy type.

Fairy-types are weak to steel because the traditional weakness of Fae is cold iron. They're also weak to poison because they live in the woodlands.

Would Radiation manip be classified as Fire or Poison? It has toxic effects on life but also generate large amounts of heat and can burn.

Pretty sure that the explosions of a bomb like C4/TNT (Releasing a ton of energy but not too much heat) is normal type, if Explosion and Self-Destruct are considered Normal type.

Meanwhile a third to half of the energy released by a nuke is heat, so that would probably count as fire type

Shouldn't the fire type also count as Hellfire Manipulation? (Will-O-Wisp, Inferno, etc...)

Also psychic type can be soul manipulation:
