The stronger awakened beings are able to survive high level mutilation, they only die if they've either been so worn out, they can't regenerate (which is not a problem for higher level ones like prissy, destroyer, riful-destroyer hybrid, i'd assume an awakened teresa falls into this category), or their head is completely destroyed. You have characters like dust-eater and hysteria, who can be brought back simply because their head is still intact. Point is, for awakened beings, the heart isn't a vital organ. Even if the poision manages to stop it, it just gets regenerated.
But everyone here seems to be debating Regular teresa, we have no idea what awakened teresa would be like, the final form shown was awakened Claire.
Yeah Teresa won't have yoki sensing against Akame but she's been showing to be capable of fighting people without yoki, so that doesn't matter.
But Like everyone says, she reduces akame to dust with quicksword.

im wondering in this since claymores can break down toxins at will would they be able to counteract the poison akames sword gives out hmm

Well Murasame isn't necessarily poisoned as much as it is cursed. It ACTS like a poison, but I'm pretty sure it's mentioned to not actually be a poison.

actually theresa inherited raphaelas ability when she awoke through claire. raphaela spreads her youki like thread to detect any movements and her legs move almost instinctively.
so, even if akame doesnt have youki. as long as she moves inside the youki threads, theresa can detect the attack.
besides, as much asi like akame. theresa will destroy her.
