The Warriors of Dawn seal Exdeath

In the game, you see a cutscene about the warriors of Dawn fighting exdeath. They remark that no matter what they do, Exdeath doesn't stay down, so they're forced to seal him. Since the warriors of the dawn possessed the same abilities as the warriors of light (see Bartz's page for more details), we know Exdeath's survived most of this. There are a few possibilities. Regenerationn - The most likely case. You see Exdeath lying defeated, but once again, he wasn't going to stay down. the fact that he was temporarily incapacitated means Exdeath must have some sort of Regenerationn. Another fact that discloses this is how quickly he recovered after getting beatdown by Galuf (within the same scene). I'd say anywhere from Mid-low to High-Mid, considering he's taken things like Meteor showers. Obviously this would give him Immortality via Rege as well. Type 2 Immortality - Considering he's been beaten down by spells like holy, flare, meteor, etc., This could also be the case. Exdeath just didn't take damage. This is also evidenced by the fact that after being "defeated" by the party in his castle, he remains virtually unharmed in the cutscene immediately after.

Exdeath's Origi

Exdeath was originally created when the souls of countless demons were sealed into a tree. He's been alive for at LEAST 500 years, and hasn't shown any hint of aging. This should qualify him for Longevity at the very least, possibly Type 1 Immortality depending on how you interpret his nature.

The Fight with Exdeath

Alright. Exdeath has immunity to most of the status effects in the game. Specifically: Instant Death, Petrification, Paralysis, Toad, Mini, Sleep, Silence, Berserk, Confusion, Zombie, Darkness and Aging. That's not exactly a disputable fact, and these immunities carry over into his other forms as well. Thus, he should have restistance to all of them (OHKO or Death Manipulation, Petrification, Paralysis, Transformation, Size Manipulation, Sleep Inducement, Power Nullification(Or something, i don't know what to count silence as), Mind Manipulation (Berserk and Confusion), Zombification, Blindness and Age Manipulation.)

So, Overall!

Immortality (Types 2 and 3)

Longevity, or Immortality (Type 1)

Regenerationn (At least Mid-Low)

Resistance to: OHKO or Death Manipulation, Petrification, Paralysis, Transformation, Size Manipulation, Sleep Inducement, Power Nullification(Or something, i don't know what to count silence as), Mind Manipulation (Berserk and Confusion), Zombification, Blindness and Age Manipulation.

The level of Regenerationn you suggest is speculative.

Immortality 1 or Longevity are fine.

Giving a level of regeneraion just because a character took a lot of attacks is something that we don't give to the profiles mostly because its speculation and we never seen them regenerate, the fact that they were unable to harm him is because the party was not ready to fight him. Longevity is fine, and not the resistancies as i previously made a thread for that.

It's not that he took a lot of attacks. It's that he was temporarily defeated, as shown in the cutscene itself. But the warriors of dawn remarked that nothing they did could "keep him down".

Cloud has resistances from ribbon even though that's game mechanics
