here is the physiology page.

I've been thinking that a physiology page should be made for the angels, considering pretty much all of the angels share the same abilities.

admittedly I was kinda iffy about this, but since we have done similar in the past, I think its fine, I would think.

In reality though, you might want to add shapeshifting to that list, since an Angel's A.T. Field gives shape to its body, and therefore it's implied the Angel's chose the form they have.

*they share the same nature

Minor grammar mistake, suggestion rejected.

I suppose that could be coupled with quantum manip, yea

its not like the old profiles are cluttering space with the abilities
I mean the point is that all angels have the same nature one way or another, I'd say it is much better to link a single page which contains all the specific things an angel does. (their specific weaknesses, S² Engine properties, attacks, etc)

That being said, I should probably edit the blog to contain more info on that specifically.

A physiology page dosen't exactly have to be large either, it seems, an example being this.

I don't think this is necessary, but it's probably fine. I am interested in your nomenclature for the page, given a lot of verses have Angels with unique physiologies.

I would much prefer it if you added the P&A to the existing page rather than physiology page. I think it makes more sense that way.

said physiology page also being completely and utterly unnecessary

You should ask yourself two questions before deciding to make a physiology page/verse specific PNA:

1. How relevant is the franchise I'm making a physiology page/verse specific PNA for?
2. How much lore is behind the franchise I'm making a physiology page/verse specific PNA for?

All of the verses in the past that have had physiology pages/verse specific PNA pages for good reason. They were decently popular to warrant such attention to detail, AND they also had enough lore to make it not a complete waste of time.

Destiny had piles of grimoire cards at people's disposal which let them create the Sword Logic page. Fate had two visual novels plus a spinoff game series, all of which massively expanded upon the abilities Servants had at their disposal, warranting the Servant Physiology page to consolidate all of their abilities into one. Devil May Cry had tons of in-game explanations of gameplay mechanics as well as canon novelizations which further expanded on said abilities, leading to the Demon Physiology page. And Shin Megami Tensei/Persona had the same thing, leading to a Cognitive Physiology page and Understanding/Observation verse specific PNA.

This you can literally just put on a PNA or list in a Verse specific PNA called "A.T. Fields"

Gonna be honest, neither of these are good criteria for this. EVA is a massive franchise, the lore is esoteric enough to justify this. I just think it isn't necessary because the pages don't have tons of powers.

As for you Wasp, I agree, not all physiology pages need to be big, but frankly it is my opinion that we should reserve these types of pages for when a character is getting like... dozens of abilities, just so we can condense information, especially given Angel Physiology would have different connotations for different verses. Were we to name it "A.T. Fields" (even though this would then apply to everyone else in the verse), I wouldn't mind so much.

I can see your point, although if the naming is a problem I can just name it 'Angel Physiology (Evangelion)' if it is agreed that an entire physiology page should be created for them.

like said above I am fine with just adding the revised p&a straight to the angel's pages if a physiology page isn't preferred, possibly under some 'general abilities' tabber, if needed.

Actually, that page may be worth deleting if it'll only have about two users, looking by the pages that link to it only having that much.

Beyond that I'm rather neutral on the premise of the OP, but I think the amount of P&As proposed may be rather lacking to qualify for a page.

Yeah that's fair ig. I do think naming is an issue in a situation like this where it doesn't give a gargantuan list of abilities in the first place.

I'm not opposed to the page's creation, I just don't think it's necessary. It has a good amount of users, at least.

I find no use in creating this because at least half of the page's content is about A.T Fields is telling about how needed this page is.

If a verse-specific P&A page for Evangelion is needed I would rather it be one on A.T Fields given it applies to the whole verse and should have more content than this, but even then I don't feel like such a page is necessary.

The content that would stay without the creation of either of these pages doesn't bloat the pages nor is it that these powers need that much extrapolation with how we have currently written them, they are clear and concise and there is no need to unnecessarily complicate things by making an entirely new page to either explain them or to cut down on a page's byte count.

if yall can input on what I proposed here, would be appreciated ^^

Considering everyone who commented seems to be fine with the new abilites, can I add them to the pages now?

I've no issue with scrapping the physiology page and just adding new stuff straight to the pages. As it seems uncontroversial, you can do so right away.

aye aye, cap'n
