Kazuko wasn't all that much of a fighter IIRC.
Boichiro should be better in that regard. His techniques also seem somewhat more potent.

Kazuko's AoE attack seems to have an advantage here.

Boichiro has the skill advantage and experience. He has lived for 100s of years and has fought the Principal, a martial artist. However, Kazuko is also extremely knowledgable and since childhood, she has been groomed. I would say Kazuko has a bit more versatility with her light swords as she can continuously use them but Boichiro's dimensional slashes can be extremely helpful if he can skillfully get hits in.

Kazuko also can rapidly fire mana attacks from quite a distance.

I don't think either has a better AOE move than the other, aside from the suicide technique but it's Kazukos trump card which I don't think she is willing to use any time soon.
