Li Qiye's new profile
The current profile covers 3/7 of the story and is already big enough, so I decided to make a new and separate one to cover the other half of the story.The profiles will thus be named "Li Qiye (Trinity Epoch)" and "Li Qiye (Seven Nights Epoch)" respectively.
Layers
I made a blog to flesh out the layers in a more detailed manner. The concept of layers in ED was already accepted in a previous thread. This is just to have an official page for it and to add it on the verse page.Old Villaineous Heavens
Decided to finally make a profile for the big bad guy of the series. To better understand the reasons for the tier, read the next sections below.
1-B & High 1-B:
- Eight Desolaces contain countless dimensional layers.
- Six Heavenly Continents contain infinite dimensions.
- Immortal Dao City is larger than both Eight Desolaces and Six Continents combined.
- Three Immortals' World contains countless spatial dimensions and temporal dimensions.
- Within Elder Galaxy (one of the nine grand heavenly treasures), there is a hierarchy of Celestial Rivers. A celestial river is a boundless/infinite space-time, but even that river is only a drop of water of another celestial river's water, which is yet just a drop in another greater celestial river's water, and so on, forming an infinite cycle of celestial rivers within celestial rivers.
- Elder Galaxy is also stated to contain endless dimensional layers (supporting evidence for the above)
Low 1-A or 1-A:
Heavenly Grand Dao:
- All of existence comes from the Dao.
- The myriad dao are the fundamental essences that make up the world.
- The birth of the dao means the birth of all things.
- The dao is both the origin and the final destination of things.
- The dao is omnipresent.
- The dao will alway be the dao, the inhabitants do not matter. If there is no one in the world, the dao will still be the same.
- The dao is limitless and boundless.
- The dao in its purest state is ultimately simple, unadorned, and unembellished, it is simply the dao. When you return to the origin you return to the dao.
- The dao in its purest state has no concept of time and space, no distance, and no coordinates. Rules don't apply either.
- Should be noted that there is a difference between the the grand dao that cultivators can normally create/affect/destroy and the "true" heavenly grand dao. The former is only a lesser aspect/derivation of the latter. Only the Old Villaineous Heaven/High Heaven can actually directly manipulate the true heavenly grand dao (and he also created it). In other words, the heavenly grand dao is a power source for the taking, which cultivators use to their benefit, but only the High Heaven (and Li Qiye, because of his unmatched comprehension) can fully harness it.
Primordial Tree:
- The Primordial Tree encompasses everything - chaos, myriad dao, emotions, desires, etc. Everything started from this tree's primordial energy.
- The tree represents the birth of space, the accumulation of karma, the samsara process, and many others.
- The Primordial Tree isn't restricted by space and time and encompasses everything beneath the High Heaven, including all affinities and karmic cycles, whereas affinities are concepts and opposing concepts, including time and space.
- Cultivation, dao power, dao laws, and all else came from this tree.
- The tree is thought to come from the Primordial, whereas the primordial existed before heaven and earth.
- To merge with the tree is to return to the primordial and exist alongside all ages and all existence.
- The myriad dao is subservient to the primordial tree.
- The High Heaven is the "Egg" that gave birth to all of creation upon its cracking/opening, including the dao and all affinities.
- The High Heaven was compared to Li Qiye's supreme grand dao, whereas the gap between him and the others went beyond a mere gap between cultivators' grand daos, but a gap on the "level of existence", a disparity that could never be bridged.
- No one is above the High Heaven, regardless of their cultivation.
Profiles affected by this:
- Li Qiye - Profile gets renamed to "Li Qiye (Trinity Epoch)" and the last key becomes "1-B. 1-A with powers" (subject to change, depending on whats accepted here). The 1-B part because Three Immortals World contains countless spatial dimensions and temporal dimensions + Li Qiye effortlessly stomped a character that became omnipresent across space and time. And the 1-A part, as the profile already explains, is because he now has control over all dao, his power encompasses everything, all laws obey him, etc
