Is this sufficient proof for the universe itself existing as data without further context, or is it just proof that a being can convert reality into data?

These included the mechanivores, massive thinking machines capable of lifting entire continents and ripping open chasms on planetary surfaces that extended down to the world's core. The mechanivores could even absorb space-time itself as a form of data.

Warhammer 40k, it makes sense in the context given that reality actually has fundamental information with Aethyr and other conceptual/data-based shenanigans and whatnot
