Duplication, how to beat it?

If someone were to fight against a character who has duplicated himself indefinitely and those duplicates can act independently from the original copy, and those copies can make other copies.

How do you take that down?

AOE/Range is your only real hope. Also depends on how fast they duplicate themself.

mostly done by Area of effect attacks.
I remember one scene in Aldnoah zero where he shot all the robots at the same time who can do infinite quantum teleportation to create copies that are also real
